Yes "thebull8" - according to him,
1)having a rig on site
2) to clear a fairly routine problem -

"thebull8" - the end of the world is nigh... its all bound to go wrong!!!

I accept it is not guranteed to solve the problem, but it is far more likly to solve the problem - than not....

What facts are against us? PANR stated themselves in end of year that they would need to raise funds in H12023. PANR themselves said flow rates were 500odd bopd with unexpected gas and condensates. I am just meant to say 'oh well no doubt they'll fix the issues, they have such a storied history of fixing well issues'

Unfortunatley, the other shorters - have claimed certainty, as well as forgeries and so forth

- all without evidence.
- nything to cause fear... When the facts are against them.

Drilling a mile and half under ground is not guraranteed - but we get ever closer to a positive outcome. The work over rig is on site .... 10 days and counting hopefully.

I have never stated I know it is uncommercial. In fact I stated if it somehow did show as commercial I would close my short position whether at a loss or not. However, us shorts like to use the law of averages and experience within this sector. Law of averages is against every single oil and gas company from day one. Experience tells us all this bluster and hyperbole and misdirection from the BoD means they are not convinced either.

I mean, I could ask you exactly the same question

I think that the price drop in late December 2022 was more about the fear of a further fund raise, combined with the sand issue (and absence of that first flow rate).

If we take one of them out - the rig - that is on site is successful, and the sand issue / flow rate has been clarified.

That should deal with the principle part of the issue (especially when PANR are receivng at least $40K dollars, (probably closer to $50K dollars a day) gross.

A little first hand experience Forwood - and on the client side also. Some are good, some not so good (land and expand), like everything in business (and life).

oh dear, pos, somewhat cynical. Do you have much Big 5 experience? They sell their experience, expertise and how to get the job done.

Not specific to Forwood but much consulting generally, your quote rabito “in your consultancy role did you not just tell customers what they wanted to hear in the hope you could get some extra work?”……………….many a true word said in jest! 🤣

The interesting thing.
1) I do think that they will finally get the successful flow test this time.
2) If they do not, then its highly likely, it will be for technical issues- that they have the money to resolve.
3) In the Webinar, they pointed out that even with a farm out, this still results in dilution, though of a different type.

4) Ultimately - will it be successful; very likely (the real issue wil be the long term decline rates) either now (and proably now) it will be - and as you say, the squeeze is on.

The shorts "know" that it is not commercial - quite how..... They have never informed us.

No, and on occasion got an earful for it! If you don't have integrity as a professional advisor, you lose your reputation, and the workflow!

That's strange forwood, in your consultancy role did you not just tell customers what they wanted to hear in the hope you could get some extra work? It would appear the shorts think the entire world shares their lack of intergrity.

After c 4 years trading PANR, 5 years working for a major consultancy and an MBA, to say I'm naive is quite amusing. Ignorant of the detail of drilling and wells maybe.

Forwood - I'm sure you have invested in and or monitored many small oil companies listed in the UK, Canada and Australia, the vast majority of whom drill in places passed over by oil producers of any size, never mind the super majors. For that matter I expect you keep your ear to the ground on drill results and field progress from whomever. In which case one of the things you will have noticed is that the proportion of wells that start of with problems that then go on to meet of exceed the original prognosis is minuscule. I'm not going to say it never happens just because I can't think of any examples I've come across.

If I might say, again, you have quite a naive view of oil services. They are in the business of keeping their customers happy and adding on more work. The latter is especially important as tendering can be competitive and the add-ons are what turns the project into profit. Everybody involves wants more work out this area. They want more studies done and especially they want more wells drilled. It will be exactly the same as whatever business you were or are in. Everything you are seeing is the most positive but defensible spin wrapped in completely legitimate disclaimers. Under promise and over deliver is an excellent approach in many situations, but this is not one, because under promising means nothing happens.

If you are so convinced why do you put so much effort in trying to convince others that it's doomed to failure. Surely you can just sit back and let it happen.I'm really not sure that you are quite as confident as you make out.Oil exploration, high risk with potential high reward....we all know that.
