Scot's unusually quiet at present. I wonder if he's been made an insider. It's a real pain in the butt to be so designated (I was in that position scores of times). Effectively muzzled and unable to deal or offer advice.

Rabito79 Scot always gives us a concise brief of his thoughts following meetings and RNS's and support your request for his feedback if possible? Also second your thanks to all the information already received from others, all of which is much appreciated.

I for one have zero doubt on the JV in Alaska it is absolutely stunning what we have, the fact that the market does not get it is frustrating but that will change. the farm out process is a fair few weeks in and I would expect things will get very interesting towards the end of this month. time to load up at 16p no way is this the correct valuation.

Folks, FYI I e-mailed the Blytheweigh contacts to see if lasts week presentation was recorded and will be made available.Bad news is it will not, good news is they got back straight away. Disappointing none the less that such a simple opportunity was missed. With this in mind Scot I took from your earlier post that you may be putting together a summary update, if this is indeed the case it would be very much appreciated. Thanks to others for the feedback to date.

ConocoPhillips has plenty of FCF or free cash flow. In fact they are using part of it to pay dividends to shareholders and plan to buy back 3.5 billion US dollars of their own stock this year. They have also increased their exploration budget 200 million dollars worth. ConocoPhillips or a company like it with plenty of FCF I believe would make the ideal partner for Pantheon.if it all is as presented a large company with experience in Alaska will know the players and problems associated with it and would be able to carry through without financial concerns. Personally , I think this will solve all the other problems about share price and all else. This is exactly what is happening right now by hopefully picking the right company to partner up with for this exploration program.I believe BP could be a good partner for the program Having finally closed the door on future claims on the Gulf of Mexico disaster. Personally, I think they were treated poorly. That’s not important. What is important is they are far from broke and succeeded in capping the well . A feat admired by all. They are raising 10 billion US dollars and have sold their remaining 26% in the Alaska North Slope legacy assets for more than half that amount. Meanwhile they are producing around 2 million barrels daily. All this is my opinion , check it out yourself. Who knows, maybe Royal Dutch Shell or Chevron may show an interest. Everybody in Alaska knows the 800 mile above ground pipeline needs to be filled up to operate properly. It seems to me the state will be willing to cooperate with the Operators as all the participants interests will be aligned.

I doubt BR would have come across the pond if he was not talking to a potential JV player. I had a mad idea last week that the potential partner might be Tullow. It wouldn't fit well against their recent overseas JVs but Alaska would fit nicely for the old Tullow mindset. In times past they chased odd things with very big upside and a focus on cashflow which is Pantheon’s Alaskan assets!

Db, I truly hope that jv talks are now at an advanced stage from which we can optimistically look to a brilliant future with Alaska drill commencing this winter!

Agreed on Bobby Gray BC, and unhelpful, Jay cannot wash his hands of all responsibility re Texas if only because he continued to talk up “Bobby Gray’s” targets at every opportunity. The latest presentation clearly allowed a block of stock to be moved out of stale holders hands at 16p. Unfortunately that placing has benchmarked the price for now until we see some buying volume and or good news. It’s exactly what occurred on the $10m 18p placing. That placing then created the pricing point 2p lower than the stock was previously trading at. Painful but necessary.

Presentation on paper was excellent so why has share price fallen...........must be a lack of trust that Jay can actually get the oil to market because their track record on getting oil out of the ground is abysmal To say that good ole Bobby Gray was solely to blame is unconscionable, Aye !

Not on about him being linked to the share price movement Michael. More to do with him not keeping an closer eye on events in days of old, especially Vision. For a chap who has been in the oil game all his life he should of had a better handle on things going on under his nose. Imo he doesn't have the large institutional support he might of had with current events.

Chuffer, Jay doesn’t control the share price. The shares hit almost 30p on the Alkaid discovery news & have since lost almost half their value. Jay is in no position to stop those responsible for the collapse in the share price...the sellers. Take a look at yesterday’s sell column and there you’ll find those responsible for the current share price.

BC "I'm starting to doubt the total success of the JV in Alaska" Did you look at the presentation?

BC I think they have no interest in drilling till Mrs Gray has been sorted. Doing any drilling now would give her a free ride on subsequent wells on which she could then come in on.

DB Looking at what RB's visit this week has done to the share price I would prefer him to stay on the other side of the pond.

I reiterate - they need to complete just one drill - it appears that the forensic examination of Texas drills started some months ago so surely they should be in a position to re-drill just one of the 6 wells. If successful it would provide much needed cash flow because I'm starting to doubt the total success of the JV in Alaska and if that is delayed or heaven help us it fails, then its out with the begging bowl for another fund raise..........probably down in single figures just like my first purchase over 10 years ago

Could it be that the overhang seller is finished but some of the stock is in the hands of the MMs? All it needs to turn this round is a good farm-out. The process has been ongoing for some time now - that's probably making some nervous nellies fear they can't secure a deal. Not me, I hasten to add!

A lot of CEO's from small start-up companies are great company! That's how they generate an aura of confidence around them. This group of people is also very enriched for individuals scoring highly on the 'Dark Triad' psychopathy scale! A bit like Turksihs's view of Gypsies! 'What do you know about Gypsies?' 'I know they're not to be trusted'.
