Bodroll, testing is all being done in the next 7 to 10 days......all will be done on wireline. MDT. No need to flow test, MDT via wireline will give all the information they need to know about a commercial discovery or not.

Massive amount of short term traders who have no clue about oil and gas. They expect the news to say instantly before any logging or testing that its a gusher.

If you read the detail of the Theta West initial RNS, if they did not have VAS it would have read much worse than todays 88E RNS. PANR were able to claim "oil" only because VAS results said so. They had no wireline logging results, just LWD to claim "hydrocarbon shows" and then VAS to mention "oil".

Everything boils down to real results......for PANR this is flow testing from the coiled tube unit......for 88E it will be MDT, sidewall cores etc...during wireline.

PANR will either zoom upwards on good news or crash on bad.

88E will either zoom upwards on good news or crash on bad.


Next week will be a very big week for these 2 companies who will both be reporting their results........and hopefully - both will be good.

Seems pro has removed "BOOM" from his post, did the BOOM turn out to be a dud?Must say I'm glad panr management don't issue RNS's in 88e manner, reads very poorly to me.

88E news release....Merlin 2 reached target depth.......All zones look good, elevated gas shows, oil in cuttings and thicker than expected. Wireline logging in process....

I think it's more a case of some American Insti's or HNW Investors also see this as we do and are simply picking up shares at what we consider a cheap price and maybe the liquidity is a bit more of an issue to the US investor and takes a little longer to build a decent stake than here in the UK.

TB, I've recently noticed price rises shortly before and just after the US market opens.

Could of course simply be a coincidence but I'm becoming a bit of a cynic!

In any event I am very confident here.
