24/3/2022 09:06 | Good point antique. The key question for me today (as someone who will be here until the BOD sell), is does today's news make it more or less likely that another company will want to buy our assets at a price considerably north of where we are at the moment? Between now and then we will have more swings of outrageous fortune, up and down, but it's at the point when PANR is sold that real value will finally be achieved. Some other questions worth answering: 1. Does PANR have more cash in the bank than it did 12 months ago? 2. Is POO higher or lower than it was 12 months ago? 3. Is the progress of the company over the last 12 months on a general uptrend or downtrend? 4. Is PANR's oil in the ground of a higher or lower quality? 5. Is PANR's OIP greater or less than it was twelve months ago? 6. Will the world's need for oil in the coming twelve months be greater or less than it was a year ago? 7. Has today's news made it more or less likely PANR will benefit from a farm in partner on terms it finds acceptable? 8. Does PANR have any debt? There are loads more questions but today's RNS has basically confirmed the direction of travel here so GLA holders. Hold for the sale!!! | rideacockhorse
24/3/2022 08:48 | Believe it should be pointed out as already mentioned that generally peak flow results after frac are not achieved until at least 70-80% of treatment load is recovered. | westx
24/3/2022 08:47 | Scott thank you for sharing this article. The last paragraph literally brought a tear to my eye. | nascarmike1
24/3/2022 08:47 | It's actually significant news for the Americans, TAPs hasn't been operating at full capacity for decades and production has been falling. New discoveries have been needed in Alaska and North America, this combined with the increasing oil price and energy security needs should result in news to the wider public. | the count of monte_cristo
24/3/2022 08:47 | 'Ive sold some shares this morning but expect the market to take it higher later today.'Stunning logic! | oilforex
24/3/2022 08:47 | Fingers crossed that the weather improves and that they are able to continue testing. Quoting Bob, "What a great season this has been." | gosoftly7
24/3/2022 08:45 | Wow! If you equate the ‘prove up and sell’ strategy of Pantheon to summiting Everest. This result, for me, equates to crossing the Valley of Silence to, the absolutely stunning, Camp 2. But it is here that for the first time we gain first close sight of Everest! | antique7879
24/3/2022 08:40 | Hi i did say I would post when I sliced 200k this morning 1.38-1.42 Just the stock I bought yesterday Core holding intact.Press and other investors should take this much further and later today I suspect we'll test the high of £1.44 | sirmark
24/3/2022 08:40 | Exciting times: Great result so far 😃 and….. Possible continuation of testing this season Webinar (with possible upgrade FROM 1.2bn!) SFS guidance (perhaps) ……… | probabilityofsuccess
24/3/2022 08:38 | unlikely224 Mar '22 - 08:31 - 24619 of 24623 Indeed, however please can you repost and use the average RF from the major Alaskan producing oil fields, which I believe is over 50%. Lol. Massive potential upgrade. | the count of monte_cristo
24/3/2022 08:35 | Exactly they are proving up a giant onshore oil field, which in itself is a massive event. But combine this with 120 dollar oil and increasing energy security and you have a perfect storm. Not seen since the 1970s Arab war, which by the way, was the catalyst for building TAPs. If it wasn't for the Arab war and oil embargoes and increasing inflation TAPs probably would have remained blocked for decades, Alaska would have been a completely different place. History is kind of repeating itself here. Majors will be circling. | the count of monte_cristo
24/3/2022 08:35 | Against this political climate, such a discovery is surely deserving of newspaper coverage in the financial press. | ottoman1453
24/3/2022 08:33 | Nice note there scot. Every man and his dog will be over this now. This afternoon should prove interesting when USA opens up. | simon_64
24/3/2022 08:32 | Chart poised for a sustained rise. Hourly as yet unstretched. Daily has huge potential. | forwood
24/3/2022 08:31 | For anyone in any doubt as to the potential upgrade, the Recovery Factor being used to determine the 1.2 bn in the LBFF was 11%. As many have highlighted this is way below the average RF on the ANS. Were the RF to be increased to say 18% - still way below average, recoverable oil would increase to ca. 2bn. | unlikely2
24/3/2022 08:28 | WH Ireland first pass Pantheon Resources (PANR) – Corporate – Theta West #1 Testing Update Market Cap £938.58m Share Price 124p Pantheon Resources announced that the Theta West #1 well flowed oil to surface from the Lower Basin Floor Fan structure. Production rates averaged 57 b/d reaching peaks exceeding 100 b/d over a 2.5 day period. The company indicated that the rates met its pre-drill expectations in terms of i) oil presence ii) quality of oil iii) mobility of the oil. In relation to its pre-drill, success-case recoverable oil estimate of 1.2 billion barrels of oil, the company indicated that the result supports, and likely exceeds, expectations. The company indicated that the onset of a severe storm suspended testing. The company, cautioned, that despite the excellent results announced today, ultimate commerciality will require long-term production testing. WHI View: We believe the result vindicates our long-term belief in the potential of the largest elephant in Pantheon Resources’ stable, the Lower Basin Floor Fan of the Theta West Structure. The result is unambiguously positive in our opinion – it substantially derisks the potential of the resource. We believe that the assets of Pantheon Resources represent a potential means of decreasing reliance on Russian oil in a manner than conforms to the highest standards of ESG. We note that as the world awakens to the reality that crude oil is the lifeblood of the modern economy there is a scarcity of high-quality, large scale oil development projects. As such, we believe assets such as the Lower Basin Floor Fan, amongst other large-scale assets held by Pantheon Resources, have potential to be of vital strategic importance. | scot126
24/3/2022 08:28 | Be careful with 88e Count. The suspension of testing at TW points to a delay in logging Merlin-2 for the same reasons. A lot of holders believe that 88e will still be testing this year. At some point they will realise this is not the case. | pannikin
24/3/2022 08:26 | Well done Darcon, but you need to realise he's located in Russia. | ngms27
24/3/2022 08:25 | rbento - listen to what management have said and read the latest presentation. | the count of monte_cristo

24/3/2022 08:23 | A horizontal won't upgrade production from 50 bbl per day to 3000.... | rbento
24/3/2022 08:22 | Risk has reduced, recovery % will increase, independent evaluation later this year, short-term traders will exit this week but share price is only going one way. | zeusfurla
