22/11/2005 08:22 | William Hill sure is more than big enough to poach PAP. And at the current SP, Paddy Power is vulnerable to predators. | blue_max
19/11/2005 10:09 | Surely, William Hill will poach local experts rather than invest in a country with no local knowledge or support? | strategy and luck
18/11/2005 00:05 | wouldn't be worried about william hill too much. Can't see them knowing the irish market well enough. paddy power will offer better choice on irish sports and knows what punters want to bet on. Now Boylesports is a different proposition Irish very professional growing and operating both sides of the border which gives them the catchment of northern punters on a sunday given the law in Northern Ireland forbiding bettings shops opening on a Sunday. Don't hold but think Paddy power will come back. | e-venturer
17/11/2005 20:48 | Writing was on the wall when William Hill took on PAP on their own door step. I am glad I sold out at EUR 14.11 despite hold advice and comments in 'Investing for Growth". Wait for a firm bounce and upward trend for a few weeks. | blue_max
