Results look OK to me at first reading.

They seem to have come in near the top of the original guidance (given with the full-year results) on revenues and adjusted net income, although they appear to have missed on GAAP net income. This was despite saying at the investor day that they expected to come in towards the bottom of the guidance. So good on actuals I think.

On guidance they are perhaps fractionally light for 2Q adjusted net income compared to the consensus on the Arris site, but really just leaving themselves room to beat I would have thought. They are maintaining their full-year guidance.

We are $7 below my target for August 2017. I hope the news in a few minutes is going to be good because the road north by August is going to be tough!!

It's nice to see the resemblance to the way Pace used to perform (not). I thought Arris Management would have done something by now to counteract the lousy mistake on buying their last purchase/TO. Rgds.,S1.

Looks like one of the term loans refinanced according to the 28th April SEC filing (8k). I imagine (but haven't checked) that this means the maturity date has been kicked back - now April 2024. Nice flexibility, by the look of it.

Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, Austria. Multimedia artist André Heller created a world of wonder to celebrate Swarovski’s hundredth anniversary in 1995. Heller’s thematic centerpiece for Swarovski Crystal Worlds was the shape of the Giant. And he developed the story of a Giant who set out to experience the world and all of its treasures and wonders. With this knowledge, the Giant settled down in Wattens/Tyrol, where he has watched over his Chambers of Wonder ever since.

These breathtaking drone photos capture St. Ivan Rilski, a partially-submerged church near Bulgaria’s Zhrebchevo Dam. The church was part of a village that flooded to the point of disappearance when Bulgaria’s communist regime built the dam nearby in 1965.

When water levels are low enough, you’ll see remnants of the church cemetery, the Daily Mail reports. The hauntingly empty area is popular with photographers and artists, who set up tents to capture the landscape in all its lonesome glory
