What i am waiting for!

dave444 - 17 Oct 2015 - 07:12:53 - 26128 of 27054
Taking on board comments of Wilfy (warrants and options)adds 11m to 704m = 715m.

Claim range excluding Khandiza restitution is $552.4m to $1250.5m!

Payout at 715 million shares:

$552.4m = $0.77
$643.5m = $0.90
$715m = $1
$786.5m = $1.10
$858m = $1.20
$929.5m = $1.30
$1001m = $1.40
$1072.5m = $1.50
$1144m = $1.60
$1215.5m = $1.70
$1250.5m = $1.75

Have to take Calunius take off this and add any interest payment awarded.
Also should receive basic legal costs currently $6.15m.

Stig, some of the posters here are in Oxus very very long time and definitely have financial interest in.
Some of them do not comment on a small rise like 1 or 2p just because they are waiting for a positive outcome to at least get their original investment back. Some averaged down, some did not, due to their personal reasons. Check the share price before the crash a few years ago to see their expectations.
Some on this thread know why they are still in and posting again and again the same will not change anything now. Uncitral will decide and will decide soon.
All LTH remember what happened to Oxus and all want Oxus to be reimbursed.

some of the long termers here who 'appear' to talk sentiment down are not 'derampers' in the sense they are short or have no financial interest in the shares going up

just imagine how you might feel if you had been a long termer stuck in this for many years and then a bunch of newbie johnny-come-lately traders turn up just for the whoosh higher, you might be tempted to 'talk down sentiment' to put the newbies off, it's a small time and rather bitter behaviour but it takes all sorts

O/t - Rossannan, No I haven't, I'm actually not a great reader but I will look out for it when next in the UK. I was impressed by the change in styles in Cloud Atlas but was unconvinced by the flimsy thread which attempted to knit the various time periods together (unlike the Bible!)

Dorset64, you raise some valid points. I have only posted on OXUS, as this is my current main interest, yet I was reading/ researching much before typing a note even though I have held since 2011. Her knowledge and subsequent posts are clearly well researched and hypothesized. It actual is intriguing. What actual is the outcome and how it reflects will be anyone's guess? But is there motive for such posts is always a suspicion others will have...Is it inside knowledge...Is it pure conjecture...Whatever the view it has left food for thought!!!

Festario - I don't remember Stephan1946 being so articulate, and he had a chip on his shoulder about being from a council estate as opposed to Gail's being a PA to a top class barrister. Mind you, if you read Cloud Atlas, you see how a skillful writer can change styles very cleverly.

the point about 'her' is that she's only been a member on ADVFN since 15th October 2015, nothing suspicious in that alone, but has only ever posted on OXS and no other thread/share.

since she's only been here a week or two she does appear to have done a lot of homework/knowledge on the tribunal so you have to ask yourself, one very much doubts she joined ADVFN and then 'found' OXS and gained such knowledge in a few days, so that means she knew all about Oxus prior to joining ADVFN.

One then looks to whether the 'new' member is indeed new, or is it another poster posting under an assumed name, or does she have 'Oxus' background and has come on to spread the word as such.

For me I will read her posts with interest but for someone to have that amount of knowledge, but not posted on ADVFN or any other (that I can find) forum in the past, does appear slightly strange and to have a motive for posting.

All imo.

I wouldn't suggest we would get 'a massive award', I anticipate a reasonable reward for the given circumstances, all pure guess work on what that would be I might add. If it does then its a bonus imho.

I am for reading each posters view and looking at what is presented. I just think some folk get a little heated on another opinion posted, but whom is right or wrong? I do enjoy the differing opinions raised by many....I haven't an axe to grind with any here...I've learned much from many on the Oxus trail! Onwards and upwards.

A few points of note in some of Gail's posts -

"...the ore was pretty close to 99% pure Gold" - ore at 99% gold? Never. Maybe you mean gold dore leaving for the refinery at 99%? Useful to save a few $$$ on further refining costs, but otherwise no big deal (or else my krugerrands at 91.6% gold may not be worth what I thought!)

"Putin put Uzbekistan up to this theft when Uzbekistan discussed the matter after finding out the Quality and quantity of the Gold on their land. Marmar has Trident on his mind, Russia has a stake here, maybe through, Trident? Uzbekistan is nothing in this game, its all about Russian involvement and Putin wish for world dominance. imho."

Best of luck trying to get timely payment if Pootie Poots is behind all this - and I hope we don't become a geopolitical pawn over the current mess in Syria. i.e. Putin - OK Assad goes but we get that multi-billion $$$ gold mine in Uzbekistan - for free!

"...if the result is positive I will hammer £500k in bets per day" High rollers like this just wouldn't be hob-nobbing with the likes of us plebs on a tatty (don't tell admin!) BB like this, IMO.

Perhaps I am being over suspicious but with RAB probably looking to offload some at a reasonable price I'm on the lookout for pumpers at a time when most investors would be hoping for a last few top ups at as cheap a price as possible.

Though on the question of whether RAB will be selling or not - OK they may be able to wait a few weeks for an award announcement as long as it is accompanied by a quick payout as in an agreed settlement or smallish award, but do they have the luxury of being able to wait months for a payout should the Uzbeks prove intransigent? I would think not. I would therefore expect RAB to sell some as not to do so would seem to suggest that they have been brought into the loop as to ongoing settlement or sale negotiations which look like resulting in a timely payment to shareholders?

Or more appropriately for this thread.

I tend to agree.

I find it interesting when one poster...Gail...posts something different it achieves a negative response. Why? It raises some interesting points within the research conducted. Rather than be critical, ask the questions that may inform any doubters what is claimed in her posts. The $2bn claim may be regarded as unrealistic...is it though? Maybes, maybe not? What basis is anyone's opinion of that over those who are quick to disregard so readily....The majority of posters here are adding their posts based on opinion, conjecture and in some cases wild claims. On this occasion I am not so quick to dismiss personally.

I would be more interested in some of the more seasoned and credibly regarded posters and what they have say on this thread...such as GS, Nobull etc any thoughts on Gail's post? It will pass the time before any announcement is given if nothing else.

Good luck all, as I hope your dreams are realised!

Uzbek lawyers and the government must feel they have a strong enough case to allow the route of Arbitration.

A settlement could have been achieved with Oxus, however they have never followed that obvious route
