It would depend on when it was likely to receive it and what the company did with that £100m, Broncho Warrior. If it was likely to receive it quickly and decided to return that hypothetical £100m to shareholders and liquidate the company then the Mkt Cap wouldn't be far off £100m.

The Mkt Cap after the verdict (assuming it's in OXS's favour) will depend on if and when OXS is likely to receive the money and what the company intends to do with it; how much they intend to return to shareholders.

Let's not panic, the very worst case win you would lose money and if we lose you lose money. But most think we will get a decent award. It is unlikely the share price will ever match the value of the award when it is announced but should still make you substantial gains from here (if we win). For example if the award is 100mm after costs, the company will never be valued at 100mm because of the likely delay in enforcing and collecting the cash. I would guess we would be valued at around 75mm.

I was just asking an honest question which I didn't know the answer to. I'm not trying to put new investors off - I thought this was a forum for grown ups to discuss matters - sorry for offending anyone and thanks for some feedback.

ross,

that's pretty much it! So assuming LNP's just lazy, which we are all guilty of then he has his(?) answer right there in your post.

Stig et all chartists, charts are absolutely meaningless in this case, but absolutely. The onlt price movements have been brought about by news (unpredictable by using charts). If after the news and no further news occurs then of course the share price will tail off as investors sell to find other, newer likely risers. There's no bollingers, boosters, cat's tails or witches hats to be had. Those are for the businesses that have a bit of operating substance behind them. Oxus has not been 'operational' for years. Get a grip!!

Dear o dear.

LNP."Will you get i guaranteed return if there is an award"YES.If the case is lost, we have zero.If the case is won, we have the award ammount. To try and debate, which I think you're trying yet again (same as previous usernames have, ie playing games.!!), about will any payment be forthcoming. Then Yes, this award can be ENFORCED in ANY of the signatory countries of the New York Convention. It will be paid and it CAN even be offset against sovereign debt.In a nutshell if needs be then UK, US, France, Switzerland, and many other countries could pay us, and seize Uzbek funds, cash, assets, in any country. That $800mill of frozen GooGoo cash in Switzerland looks mighty tasty.Anyway.The above assurance is not for you, its for newcomers who you are trying to put off.. If you genuinely didn't know the above, then you haven't been here long and haven't researched properly.

LNP...pay your money and take your chance as many others have and await the official result when we all get a more clear picture. Until then there are a number of permutations we can all throw conjecture at...some will be right and others wrong!

May not answer your question but only a select few would ever know the facts...unfortunately alas, I am not one of them... :(

LNP, I think you have been given a fair warning in #24318

If Oxus loose then it is annoying that people who use limited risk will be loosing 2/3 less than the ones who have bought the shares. I just wish I had the credit rating to be able to have a spreadbet account to go long on Oxus.
Currently I use finspreads and they only cover the top 100 companys for limited risk accounts.

Winding folks up? I'm an adult looking to potentially invest hard earned cash. I'm asking a simple question, will I get a guaranteed return if there is an award? Nobody has said, yeah absolutely because...........

Yes JAF, the comment has been made with deliberation and the NOMAD accepts it,
so on this basis we have a very good signal.

LNP, you may be more suited to another OXS thread. Folk have been on
a long journey and we have debated over and over again so many aspects.
Verdict is likely to be close to announcement ("very near future").
Kindly refrain from winding-up posters on this thread, thanks in advance.

GS,

Thanks. Whereas I can see RS writing such a comment ever so slightly tongue in cheek after last year, I can't see the NOMAD playing the same game.

As ever, I may be wrong but let's hope we are somewhere near the end of this saga.

letsnotpanic,

I was wrong in answering you - I gave you the benefit of the doubt. You are, as others have said, a wind-up merchant. If you really wanted to know the options, you would have done what I suggested. You are now filtered.

If this was a simple red or black bet with a betting shop, I could understand, however this is the stock market, so who will buy my shares at the maximum price they will ever be??????

letsnotpanic,

The reason most people are being rude to you is that this topic has been debated ad nauseam on this thread many time over the past few years. If you really want to know all the possible options that might happen to this share in the event of a win, your best bet is read back through this board - I know there's a lot but I don't think anyone is prepared to have the discussion yet again.

Best to filter him, dave. He's a clown. Wind up merchant.
