I will add that these shares are highly speculative and I have always made it clear that it is best to 'not bet the farm'. They are high-risk high reward category,in my opinion. I also stated recently that I had them 'running on their profits' now as a kind of protection. Shares are a gamble it is down to each person's own individual risk scenario. IM0

http://www.ovocagold.com/upload/notice_of_agm_2015.pdf I am sorry but you will have to assess this for yourself. There seems to be some bad feeling with some posters and I am not accountable for people's decisions here or elsewhere. I have had various requests lately but I can only be responsible for my own decisions. I shall probably post less but will continue to post on the SHA thread.

Haz,You are right, accounts past, shares future. So what do you think the future holds in terms of opportunity, revenue, profit and share price of course it's a guess, but what's your view.

I made money elsewhere to offset some of the losses made in OVG prior to 2010 thanks, I prefer physical both as an investment and as insurance, and have been adding since 2008. For my Mining stocks as I already mentioned on here before its purely in producers

Again there will be plenty of small companies in this sector making a loss but will still be valued for their future potential. People have to make up their own mind. IMO

I think that many people get confused about the stock market and how it works. Accountancy is about the past; shares are about the future. That is why sometimes a company can seemingly have great results but in a piece at the end they might say that the outlook may not be as good and so the share will drop rapidly. The stock market in my experience anticipates events. I can only imagine that people expect gold to go on rising.........they could be wrong....who knows? So the share moves up. Whilst I am delighted it has, none of us can know what will happen in the future. I think people should read things for themselves and make their own judgements. It was rising before I posted anything, have a look at the L S E board if you want to see enthusiasm. I am sorry you lost money on this share years ago butperhaps it is time you moved on for your own sake? IMO

Post 6512 You never mentioned the actual loss of €2.1m you just focused on the slightly odd statement in the RNS they had made a profit. Maybe you did read the full results PDF in which case you wouldn't be lazy but then you would be misrepresenting the actual hard facts. IMO

Just read pdf for full year and suppose the fall in Sterling against Euro will wipe out alot of Polymetals increase.

POST 6523 Getting personal now are we? .........lazy is something I have never been accused of........... BUT I'm sure you could use your time more profitably...perhaps looking at different shares that you do like? You have been bleating on about these, in a negative way since I got them at between 4 and 5 p .... Somebody must like them not just me I guess? IMO

Would I be right in saying the 26.7m euro valuation is based on Polymetal shares at around £8 50 on 30th June rather than the present value of just under £12? Haven't had time to read pdf file yet to see if more detail given?

Gold has been depressed for ages.......that seems to be changing ....the little gold companies are appearing to be better value. I do think there are one or two sour grapes around here. Each to their own..... IMO
