06/7/2016 08:33 | Starting to catch peoples eyes | my retirement fund
06/7/2016 08:14 | Pity they don't always seem to show the ISDX trades over here imo | hazl
05/7/2016 15:03 | well gold on the move again making up some of its losses for the day by the looks of it. IMO | hazl
02/7/2016 20:44 | Yes best not to expect much from the basic materials miners. Gold and silver miners are the ones to look out for . clearly producers will be first to be picked up and then as THE GOLD BULL market takes more of a hold all stocks in the sector may well benefit. IMO | hazl
02/7/2016 11:43 | Interesting interview from Bill Fleckenstein highlighting why you need to pick the right mining companies to profit from the expected rise in value of the precious metals | mbthedude
01/7/2016 19:49 | I think we won't remain at this low price for much longer. I feel those slightly larger trades are indicative of interest picking up. On ISDX as well. IMO | hazl
01/7/2016 16:38 | somebody likes us....we have a 6p trade! | hazl
30/6/2016 15:55 | DON'T FORGET trades on isdx as well. | hazl
30/6/2016 15:41 | Did ok with FRES bozzy thanks, probably should have kept it,hope you doing ok? ITS funny times we live in that's for sure. | hazl
29/6/2016 20:43 | BB posts from today have disappeared. Reckon results are ok. Good to see them released a full day before the deadline! Nothing new that I can see. No indication of how assets will be distributed to shareholders. Cash and POLY valuation increased very slightly from Dec-14 in Euro terms. Interim results and balance sheet ought to be extremely good, given the recent surge in POLY. OVG's interim balance sheet date is 30-June i.e tomorrow. Some excellent performances by gold stocks since last Thurs. Hope you've made a fortune hazl! Must say it's nice to see PoG finally break and hold $1300. Better still to see it climbing again today whilst the FTSE recovered. | bozzy_s
28/6/2016 14:06 | Being around 1000p it makes calculating the value of OVG's holding easy. £7.75m. Let's see what results bring in 2 days. I see OVG are leaving it 'til the last possible minute again. One day they'll have to improve that. | bozzy_s
28/6/2016 08:50 | POLY over 1000 | mikeh30
21/6/2016 10:06 | They say its best not to tell anyone if you have mbdude 8-) | hazl
20/6/2016 08:30 | Just a quick survey, how many of you are holding physical as well as investing in the mining stocks? I have been accumulating AU since 2007 and AG since late 2015, have a decent stack of American Eagles, Philharmonics and some Kilo bars. Have decided its useful insurance to hold something outside FIAT and the banking system. | mbthedude
16/6/2016 16:41 | PoG up to $1313 :) | bozzy_s
09/6/2016 15:26 | Don't forget Gold just turned up again as dollar retreats people that purchased these today may well be pleased they did! imof | hazl
09/6/2016 14:26 | Don't forget GWMO drilling soon and only £0.9m market cap. With £0.8m cash. Will go ballistic on any buying pressure. | apfindley
09/6/2016 14:16 | I will add mbthedude that I have been lucky enough to have taken profits in several amongst them OMI,GPM PGD AAU which also have had good rises and probably should have stayed in them but it's sometimes good to take some profits along the way. However as I said in earlier post, I do agree in principle with what you say. | hazl
09/6/2016 13:27 | just looked in....a good morning here I see! Thanks mbdude I think you have a point and I had already decided to pick a 'tried and tested' producer alongside these more speculative shares because I think gold will continue rising and so even if some of the more established companies have already doubled then they will probably continue to do well. I think though that if one of these speculative companies does do well we are obviously talking about a larger percentage return in the long run. I agree it's a big 'if' and so I have tried to get a mixture of them because it's how you do overall that counts. Its best not to spend loads on these little companies. Anyway great we have some interest.I think its more to do with the fact we are not seen as a producer than history myself and that some of this particular stage companies, are now being picked up. IMO | hazl
09/6/2016 11:35 | Nice move up today. | someuwin
09/6/2016 01:32 | Bozzy " But I can't see it happening for 5+ years without some sort of payout to shareholders." But its already happened for the last 5 years, its not the opinions of the BB that matters though its the market that has decided, despite the discount to net assets the market does not buy. | fenners66
08/6/2016 16:14 | Indeed. If they had any sort of credibility / good history the share price would be 15p - 30p. | bozzy_s |
