11/8/2017 11:29 | Results next week. We need to see what additions they make to reserves. That is the main issue holding the shares back. I note they are indicating gold production slighlty lower at 30-35k (from 35k-40k). Could that be linked to their aim of increasing their life of mine to six years? N.B. Proven and Probable Reserves are listed at 126k Oz - seems out of date to me. | abc125
11/8/2017 10:24 | O/T I certainly don`t buy into Gold related assets based on North korea I daresay the US has promised to bung Kim Jong-un a $Billion every time He opens his mouth to keep frightened Americans et al continuously petrified so that Bust pensions and The US economy never get 10 seconds of Mainstream news. The elite with all their obscene wealth can invest in idiot Nuclear shelters, whilst others invest our future Pensions in weapons for enemies that do not exist-until the US attempts to create them. All awesome for the US war machine, sales of weapons, and burying truth of course. As the US is surely the World`s No`1 enemy,it defies logic to buy their defense weapons, probably programmed to never defend against US launched weapons.(lol) What a stupid World controlled by the stupid, that need to keep us all stupid. | richgit
11/8/2017 10:00 | Tapertick Lol You could argue how long before Tesla or Netflix ever actually make any real money. Brancote never made any money- they simply had the right Gold resource to sell for more than £200Million. Add Weymars "huge potential " to Uruguays obvious potentials and we have a very undervalued Company at circa £15 Million Market value that should attract those that can see the potentials for a Multiple of that IMHO and fully loaded with paid for stock.. | richgit
11/8/2017 09:26 | Thanks for the feed back.Good luck with the propert sales.A lot of nervy people around No wonder really when you have two lunatics in control.Reminds me if a Pink Floyd track.Actually two. If those two actually dont back down then Armageddon awaits!!! Not going to think about that anymore as the posdible implications are horrendous. The two if them would be quite happy to sit insude their mountains for the next 100 years waiting for the dust to settle.Yep no doubt about it The lunatics are niw in charge of The Asylum!!! | billthebank
11/8/2017 09:02 | How long before Waymar actualy produces? If it's as slow as Chile I may not live that long. | taperkick
11/8/2017 08:58 | richgit MCap is not 12m. 117,586,905 x 15.25 = 17.93m | taperkick
11/8/2017 08:50 | Augustus Can I ask where are you actually invested as I would love to know which companies have passed the AL research test? NB I am not stalking you!!! | billthebank
11/8/2017 08:48 | Just looked in and todays news seems good. Can understand the companys rationale here.At present every 100 dollar increase in the POG means an extra 3.5 million in th e coffers. Very dependant on Gold price. Watching for now | billthebank
11/8/2017 08:41 | tapertick. Investors will at some point start looking back at the previous drill results which were fairly awesome for Waymar. Note that Waymar was at one point valued at what OMI is (in total) Today. Also investors will take note of who else is taking interests in this "high grade Gold" area. If OMI can achieve more drill results confirming the potentials then at some point the flood gates could open for those that may clamour for a piece of the action on OMI`s terms !! ? A £12 Million Market Cap that is already ludicrously undervalued with the "potential" for 20 times that. "Potential" yes- and I daresay more will eventually like a bite of that "potential" return. IMHO | richgit
11/8/2017 08:37 | Just another example - OMI raise money from shareholders because they don't make a real profit. They need new resources to replace the gold that they have mined over the last 14 years --- this is a simple plan - mine gold, sell gold, raise money to replace the gold sold. Everyone gets paid - except shareholders who get nothing. Never pay a dividend - what's the use in investing in something that is never going to give you a return? After 14 years and 700,000 ounces of gold sold -- the assets are worth much less than they were, money was raised from shareholders and not a penny was paid back. OMI is just a charity for the locals and the Directors. No prospect of shareholders getting anything back here - EVER! | augustusgloop
11/8/2017 08:15 | I am already numbercrunching what we may achieve. I suggested some months back that this could/should happen, and considered it would be a very positive action. An oversubscribed funding to start drilling what could yet be OMI`s version of £200 Million + Brancote I am all for the speculation of raising $3.4Million to at least get those drills rolling as a start to the massive "potentials" of those initial super high grade Gold results continuing. Bring it on !!! | richgit
11/8/2017 08:11 | A bit of dilution, but could have been worse, at least we stil own 100% of Anza rather than a shared ownership deal à la Chile. | taperkick
11/8/2017 06:12 | Interesting RNS.... Small premium and over-subscribed....m | thecynical1
10/8/2017 12:24 | Can't be long before the full year results. Maybe some good news coming along with it. I know this maybe "pie in the sky", but I for one can't help but wonder if Newmont Mining would be interested in buying in a stake at Anza (Columbia). They have bgt into Continental Golds site down the road. Now what would OMI be worth if they bgt a stake in return for a large cash investment! | wallywoo

04/8/2017 18:13 | The year long downtrend from July last year seems to be ending imo. Orosur Mining weekly chart '> | abc125
04/8/2017 11:32 | Rising nicely...and tipped. Cantor Fitgerald's analysts have identified their highest conviction stock ideas, one of which is OMI: [...] "Orosur Mining (OMI), digging for gold in Uruguay, Colombia and Chile, is metals and mining expert Asa Bridle's top pick. "With practically no debt, and production expected to be stable at the San Gregorio operations in Uruguay over the medium term, Orosur can use the future cash generated from its mines to fund both further production development in Uruguay and a significant exploration drilling programme on the exciting Anzá gold project in Colombia," writes Bridle. "Positive outcomes from either or both of these campaigns would represent notable, value driving, progress for the company as it looks to become a more significant gold producer based on multiple, long life, operations." | rivaldo
04/8/2017 10:01 | No one buys small-mid cap gold mining stocks to get a dividend. In fact I'd be there asking why the hell they could't find anything better to invest the money in to grow the company instead of giving shareholders a relatively meaningless payout. If I want dividends I'll go big pharma or something. | romeike
31/7/2017 16:57 | that last sentence sounds good to me, richgit. | rhuvaal2
31/7/2017 11:16 | Elban, There certainly is no point in suggesting what OMI could have achieved and paid out from a soaring share price and dividends if the fraudulent manipulations of Gold had not taken place with such a vengeance from early 2013. Neither can we cry over what the US could have achieved with its $trillions debts,so mispent that roads and bridges don`t get repaired,or Pensions paid,or the fact that we had near relative World peace around 1987 which the US Neocons would never embrace. At least this Micro Cap valued Company has some "real" assets, little debt, and can rebuild itself to pay Dividends and achieve a far higher share price. Assuming it will do that - then that reality will be far more believable than Algos clicking on ads in the click & pay for clicks -debacle,or Car sales that are possibly witnessing the exhaustion of sales from years ahead, and Ghosts to place their ectoplasm signature on a loan doc. Steer a steady Ship, keep it on course with engines idling, and then when the truth arrives- be ready for full throttle towards the Golden era of the only real money around.. | richgit
30/7/2017 11:54 | Its the last day of July tomorrow and if Newmont closes at or near current levels, it will be a strong monthly break-out candle imho. Newmont Mining Monthly Chart '> | abc125
30/7/2017 11:49 | Leader of the pack Newmont seems to have ended its one year consolidation when looking at the weekly and monthly charts. 1) A new 23 week high. 2) Held above the lows of December 2016. 3) Completed a classic 50% fib retrace of the H1 2016 bull run. 4) Strong weekly breakout candle. 5) Juniors like OMI should soon follow.
