15/2/2017 13:45 | Thgt this Edison update was worth a read. Only thing I really disagree with is the cash projection. Think they will have a lot more than $5.4M by the end of the year: | wallywoo
15/2/2017 09:29 | rhuvaal2 A very strange almost fake news story,as Germany suggests they have brought back 300 Tonnes from the US.... and yippy did rejoicing !!!? What nonsense is that when compared to what they were supposedly trying to get back circa 1500 Tonnes !!! Either Germany is telling Porkies that the bulk of the 1500 Tonnes was ever truly "Physical Gold" or they are merely covering up that the US has effectively stolen their Gold. The German people should wise up to the fact that the missing 1200 Tonnes is no doubt worth 0 ,either in its non existence- or its theft -for if its is also "Paper Gold" false accounting - it will be worth 0 when Paper Gold is worth nearer 0 in its inability to be converted to Physical. We have to wonder in the London Pictures of the Queen observing our Gold reserves ...... just whose Gold is She being shown and how many people lay claim to it. They treat us like morons, yet their Morons are starting to wise up. My huge concern is that most of us use Nominee share accounts, with suggestions that as our collective shares are in the name of our Nominee holder,( ie Barclays Stockbrokers) they too are subject to far more claims than shares exist.-like Paper Gold. Every which way we turn there is a cliff. | richgit

11/2/2017 17:32 | "If" it was Scotiabank that was bailed out from its Gold shorts last July,as seemingly it wasn`t any US bank, then if Silver keeps marching up they could be toasted as it is them and JP Morgan with the obscene short positions in Paper Silver. Yet JP Morgan cares not as they have some 600 Million ounces of skimmed off Physical silver from their multi-month manipulations, includ We have to wonder what the deal is between Dracula and its gofer vampire as the question could be how the hell does Scotiabank wriggle out of its short position. JP Morgan of course has full script on what happened to Bear Sterns and their Silver shorts,as JP Morgan was saddled with Bear Sterns in that bust. Interesting times, and just maybe an extra 2% of PI`s will start to take note | richgit
10/2/2017 08:27 | drago. Brancote proved up circa 5 Million ounces which they sold on in a share deal at beyond £200 Million and I took the offer immediately so got marginally less as I didn`t want to take any risk of it going wrong. That was in the days when it was considered there were no Gold shortages-as such. These days we have the boss of Randgold and others warning there is a huge vacumm of new mines circa 10-20 years of little in sight. I had that needed bit of luck with Brancote and on a very rough calc of $50 in the ground to support my final and biggest sum investment at 80p the deal I was hoping for valued the Gold somewhat higher at circa £2+ per share. What price for Gold and any decent resource assuming the shortages come to fruition as we wonder what some Majors will offer for arguably "gold anything" when their own investors are screaming for more resources !! At the moment we can look at stocks like CGH/HUM (not yet producing)that have yet not been recognised for having the big number of overall 5Million + whilst 5Million + will become as rare as Hens teeth and put those with far less in the spotlight at some point. I witnessed 1 bid at $1000 per ounce in the ground (for good reasons)a few years back, so gawd knows what we may witness in the coming years -if Gold is in shortage That`s the game plan theory anyway,so OMI would have a lot to play for with Waymar`s significant acreage and the initial Anza target. No guarantees-yet a good base of circa 250,000 ounces to start from ,and a dream to hold that it will grow proportionately to the amount of drilling. At £17 Million total Market Cap,for everything - maybe a gift of a lifetime on a risk/reward of spread risk/reward IMHO | richgit
09/2/2017 19:29 | Thanks rg, those were my thoughts too, half gramm per ton a light year away from brancote imho to put together all the parts of extraction processing and refining must cost a mint ln capital costs never mind what the resource underneath it. I suppose we just have to be patient | drago
09/2/2017 09:06 | A very readable post from richgit. I had a look over Teth's current projects and could see nothing exciting (just < 0.5g grade deposits). Director buying is the only thing that made me curious. But then again haven't OMI directors bought way north of today's price? | taperkick
09/2/2017 08:19 | drago. I only mentioned Teth as I noted it has risen to a Market Cap of circa £8Million yet whilst someone knows the story/potentials of the Company,it isn`t obvious to most- including Myself so I just watch it for further announcements. It is not my suggestion that it is thus overvalued as like most it may be undervalued as I do not yet know the story, yet whatever the story it is currently at an early exploration stage. It simply makes OMI as a no debt Gold producer with all its known assets + Anza, considered to already have circa 250,000 ounces (which is most certainly NOT valued)...look glaringly undervalued by Comparison of "what is known to most " at £17Million !!? Over the coming months I daresay more microcaps will pop up to £17Million value + with far less obvious potentials than OMI. That of course would be a great situation for the dreams of what ANZA "could" be valued at once the Market values the 250,000 ounces with hopefully more to come. It could be a Brancote and nobody can say it cannot,so there will be some excitement to come when they start drilling. All depending on where the value of Gold is going over the next couple of years of course, yet even a mere hindsight of a $1250 average will do very nicely for OMI overall. Whether the Market will value OMI as a self financing explorer,or earnings stock, or both will be another hindsight, yet one thing is for certain that virtually no Micro-cap explorers that pop up to £17Million will be "self financing " Go figure- as they say. . | richgit
08/2/2017 19:18 | What is the attraction of teth anyone | drago
07/2/2017 14:40 | Agreed RG, I cannot see me selling my holding here anytime soon. Will look into your tip. Cheers. | breaktwister
07/2/2017 13:29 | BREAKTWISTER That stock is Tethyan Res LSE:TETH I am just watching it as I have no story to tell about it,yet some obviously seem to like the story. My point being - that when there is a story here regards the Waymar assets with a starter of circa 250,000 ounces then just maybe that story will add some £millions to the Market Cap. | richgit
06/2/2017 19:24 | Gold price motoring nicely, waiting for OMI to catch up. | qs99
06/2/2017 15:56 | Up in Canada. And the gold price approaching $1,230. | rivaldo
06/2/2017 14:26 | only miner IMO that hasn't really moved with GP....PAF, SHG, CEY, ACA all motoring away | qs99
03/2/2017 09:49 | Which tiddler RG? | breaktwister
31/1/2017 13:59 | Zero or £ 1 share price Toss of a coin really. Just hope they get lucky and hit a rich vein or get targeted for takeover. Imho | overdale123
31/1/2017 13:07 | I have just looked at my holding in this share. Haven't been able to look at the price for years. Bought at the peak and lost £100k. Have a small holding still but thinking i should exit this year. Any ideas as this seems to be the only gold share which never went up in the boom times and then tanked never to return. | johnpaul1
28/1/2017 18:32 | Absolutely Bar adding my 2ps worth with regards to the Waymar assets, assuming they come to the fore as suggested. I have almost retired from posting on most BB`s and some stocks I hold I have never posted- or very rarely -as this Market isn`t interested anyway in opinion of anything that wont move in 10 days or before the T+ has to be settled That will change of course in time and I have no intention of posting amongst the hordes of rampers that will hopefully (one day) flock to so many. I am also mindful of influencing anyone when I could possibly be wrong,so I try to point out the potentials of undervalue without resorting to "this is going to the moon" I will leave that to future rampers and in so doing absolve Myself in My absense from any possible mistakes. I only say what I genuinely believe, and whether I am invested ,so I stress to all - the numbers game of risk/reward with several Gold/Silver stocks and - my current mainly vaulted Silver, only because I think vaulted Silver will appreciate in percentage terms faster than vaulted Gold ,until the decision it has run far enough and then back into Gold. I`ve done my Gold story here and opinion of a Bankrupt Neocon War mongering America ,so now it is time to virtually hibernate and hope Mr Trump lives long enough to rid America of its, destructive to all mankind, Wolfowitz agendas. . | richgit
28/1/2017 15:17 | richgit ~ I'm trusting (as you stated) that you'll soon retire from this thread once the plural of Joe Bloggs commit to this board ! | rhuvaal2
27/1/2017 13:32 | Fairly awesome........... The Swiss refiners have been working 24/7 for years now.... Switzerland's Gold Exports To China Surge To 158 Tons In December But this is what is slowly killing the Bullion Bankster Gangsters,as they cannot re-hypothecate to infity -what has gone !!!!! Gold bullion imports from the U.K. jumped to 148 tons vs 48.4 tons meaning that Swiss gold imports from the U.K. "were the highest since December 2015." The London gold market continues to see outflows as gold continues to move from the London gold market to strong hands in China via the Swiss refineries. I daresay the biggest scam is those that hold Gold in London wont admit their Gold is now in China, and maybe if another Chavez appears the UK will have to pay top $Dollar to buy that Gold in the Market. That is My conspiracy theory, but then everything is now a game of borrow(or steal) from Peter to Pay Paul until there is nobody left to borrow or steal from | richgit
26/1/2017 16:04 | Dracula is openly very concerned the Markets are in nutball mood and no doubt fears an awakening,so no doubt as head Gangster in the Paper Gold fraud they are taking this opportunity whilst the window is open to milk what they can. It`s all hope driving the Dow and we should all fear if that hope smashes into a wall of the reality. $trillions of Paper Gold with fragments of Physical backing !!!and Dracula will know the day, at some point in the future, to turn full blood drinking cannibal Vampire. Certainly a year of what ifs to come. | richgit |
