10/5/2007 09:36 | Green is good Kermit! :P | knackers
10/5/2007 09:12 | Again a lovely little pop with no volume. The liquidity in this stock for buyers as i have said before must be very small as the "free float" must be very low. | kermit
08/5/2007 17:39 | These are a gilt-edged HOLD. Having the Tikh smelter 'on stream' is a collosal bonus for ORI. They really must be a prime acquisition target. | knackers
08/5/2007 14:06 | Nice to see strong move today. | metex
08/5/2007 10:29 | With nickel just soaring away and a never ending stream of demand from all the developing countries for years to come maybe we can expect some news on Shev. | kermit
08/5/2007 09:44 | yup, not selling mine either especially in the current climate of mining takeovers | gardenboy
08/5/2007 09:15 | Indeed. They're no tadpole, Hermie. ;o) | knackers
08/5/2007 08:07 | Strong openning this morning with stock being lifted off the offer at the first throws. Looks like first target of 60p could be cleared today with a little luck... I just cannot see any reason to sell these for some time as they just look to be a no brainer | kermit
04/5/2007 15:49 | Gardenboy, you could try Selftrade, I had to phone them initally to set it up, but I've had no probs dealing ORI since. | bo doodak
04/5/2007 13:36 | The market for ORI certainly seems to have suddenly firmed up. Nice. I reckon that 70p NT target is very much on the cards. | knackers
03/5/2007 23:01 | Flagon, do you mind if I ask you who your isa provider is ? Share Centre not recognising ORI as isa eligible.. big volume in Canada today, free stock charts from www.advfn.com | gardenboy
03/5/2007 21:34 | Fatfin Yes you can. Provided that it is also listed on a recognised stock exchange. In this case Canada. However, your broker may not offer this facility. Check out the 'iaim' thread on advfn for more info. Flagon | flagon
03/5/2007 18:05 | Are you allowed AIM stock in your ISA ? Fatfin | fatfin
03/5/2007 17:18 | Any one knows the reason for the rise today ? From the companys website there was a valuation note published by Canaccord Adams on the 25th April. However, I have not been able to find this anywhere. Also, there is a PDF presentation dated for May. Guess they've been out pressing the flesh and telling their story again. Anyhow, happy to hold. Got these in my ISA. Good luck, Flagon | flagon
24/4/2007 16:09 | Was expecting a rise with this announcement, could it be they are hinting about perhaps looking for more cash (in the short term) to build these plants? Not concerned though. ''In addition to assessing all possible processing technologies for the development of the Shevchenko nickel project, Oriel's management is also evaluating the construction of additional ferrochrome plants to utilise the excess of Voskhod chromite production'' | bo doodak
24/4/2007 12:58 | deckergj - yes, but I guess the market had got bored expecting it ?! whatever, the fact that the smelter is going counts as a further de-risking milestone, as well as giving ORI cash inflow, of course :) | mikehardman
24/4/2007 09:03 | yes, strange no upside yet today but I've taken this opportunity to buy a few. | gardenboy
24/4/2007 08:37 | MikeH - would you have expected some + movement in the share price today after this news, I am not a holder yet but watching closely TIA deck | deckergj
24/4/2007 08:26 | Tikhvin Smelter started production (= cash inflow), Voskhod update - progressing OK, Shevchenko update - OK; evaluating the construction of additional ferrochrome plants to utilise excess Voskhod chromite production; "With next year's chromite production at Voskhod and the subsequent ferrochrome production from Tikhvin, Oriel will be a vertically integrated ferroalloy producer." "The conclusion of Voskhod's debt financing has allowed Oriel to continue to develop what will soon be a world class chromite mine. Subsequent to last year's previously announced transactions, the enlarged Oriel now has a stronger cash position, providing the ability to advance the Shevchenko nickel project, yet another potential world class deposit in Kazakhstan." and ORI is nicely close to China - big demand from stainless steel / ferrochrome market indifferent :( | mikehardman
17/4/2007 11:55 | 70p target. | knackers

16/4/2007 18:49 | Yeah volume was low today, but i do believe we have a new closing high :-) | hywel |
