24/11/2017 10:00 | I take your point loungeact, but I don't think that they mention it on the packaging at all. John | 2350220
24/11/2017 09:35 | Tweet - @KnightonFoods: The team had a fantastic time visiting @FoodMattersLive this week in #London. So much innovation and a lot of talk about #GutHealth. For more information about the #Prebiotic that we produce #Slimbiome please get in touch. | loungeact
24/11/2017 09:13 | #449 - I like the design from a picture viewpoint, but the words don't, for me, differentiate the product from a general weight loss perspective. Supposed to be "hunger free" weight control, aren't they? Doesn't give that impression. I do accept though, that it is difficult to get a scientific message across in a few words. | m4rtinu
24/11/2017 09:08 | It's best to keep things minimal. If I had to give prominence to anything on the front it would have been the Slimbiome logo, which they've done. For me, gluten free etc belongs on the back with the rest of the ingredients information, simply because they've got better things to shout about - Slimbiome. | loungeact
24/11/2017 09:04 | Plasybryn - I actually think the branding/packaging is very good. I'm a product designer by trade. The imagery is great too, promotes the use of natural foods/flavours. | loungeact
24/11/2017 08:54 | Talking of branding and labelling, I asked Max a few days ago, if these products are Gluten free, and he said the are. If that's the case, then I don't understand why they don't advertise the fact that their shakes and bars are gluten free? Straight away that's another bonus, I would have thought. John | 2350220
24/11/2017 08:15 | Optibiotix Health's Slimbiome wins award at major food event Share 13:00 23 Nov 2017 The award recognised the innovation and scientific credibility behind SlimBiome, said chief executive Stephen O'Hara picture of food Healthy eating ,not dieting, the way now Optibiotix Health PLC ’s (LON:OPTI) weight loss additive SlimBiome has won the award for 'Best Functional Ingredient for Health and Well Being’ at the prestigious Food Matters event. Stephen O’Hara, Optibiotix’s chief executive, said he was delighted, especially as it recognised the innovation and scientific credibility behind SlimBiome. READ: Coffee that loses you weight among products being developed by Optibiotix “This award reflects the growing scientific and consumer evidence base which show that the incorporation of SlimBiome into food products helps customers to manage their weight loss (typically 2-3lbs) by reducing food intake without food cravings.” Optibiotix has developed a number of pro-biotics products based on the science of the human microbiome, the bacteria in the gut. OptiScreen is for lowering cholesterol. OptiBiotics is a natural sweet fibre to help with diabetes control while Slimbiome is the weight management product. Slimbiome is designed to stop you feeling hungry and a step forward from diets that rely on will-power and calorie restriction, he said. “This new approach to weight management contrasts with many existing products which lack strong scientific rationale and typically rely on customers’ self-control.” “Hunger free dieting is now a consumer option,” he added. READ: Massive opportunities for OptiBiotix Health's new and improved SlimBiome Optibiotix recently signed a revenue sharing deal with Premier Foods’ subsidiary Knighton’s to develop Slimbiome. That followed an agreement with Tata Chemical for Slimbiome to be distributed in India. “We are working with national and international partners to incorporate SlimBiome into a wide range of food products and bring next generation functional weight management products to help improve the health and well being of consumers around the world.” | scotty1
24/11/2017 08:15 | Branding is poor. Looks very 70's & needs gravitas to support scientific aspect. | plasybryn
24/11/2017 08:13 | Nice Although if I was in charge of branding I would have made “Go Figure” a lot bigger Plenty of room | judijudi
24/11/2017 08:01 | Opti are choosing and progressing their partners extremely well and I have no reservations about any of the arrangements so far. The time to worry is when something goes wrong and not when the results so far are begining to look awesome... | bobdown2
24/11/2017 07:54 | I think he has something up his sleeve to make us all happy, well I hope he has anyway. | rafboy
24/11/2017 07:43 | Thought we might have had a bit of news this week after the mini drought Soh must be lining them up for a good few weeks prior to Xmas :) | judijudi
24/11/2017 06:18 | John,Don't get me wrong, In my opinion, OPTI as a company will become a raving success eventually anyway (whether Knighton put any serious effort into marketing the Slimbiome formula or not). Just from my own personal (and past business) experience I take it with a pinch of salt when the best a person/company will offer is "Their best endeavours".You are right, it would be in Knightons interest to push it hard (obviously the more orders the larger their income from Slimbiome production)... But... They'll also make their money from the customers OPTI bring to the table (without having put any real effort). So Knighton have to decide just how much of their time and effort its worth. Of course, if Knighton made a little extra on the customers they directly bring to the table then I could imagine their "Best Endeavours" to be somewhat more substantial. I certainly hope my reservations on that statement are misplaced - I guess time will tell.Sienna : ) | siennadelekat21
23/11/2017 21:42 | Why would they Sienna? Surely, isn't it in their best interest to make sure that Opti do well and are promoted too? Like us, they have a vested interest in making sure that the message is heard wide and far I would have thought. John | 2350220
23/11/2017 20:10 | While I like the Knighton tweet Parob - I just hope they don't consider that to be the total sum of: "Their best endeavours to promote and expand the supply of SlimBiome(R), bringing it to the attention of product innovation teams across their wide range of customers".Sienna : ) | siennadelekat21
23/11/2017 16:24 | David Street - Marketing Manager - Knighton Foods on LinkedIn:A massive congratulations to the OPTIBIOTIX HEALTH PLC team. 23/11/2017 15:59 | Insti are not buying from open market, they are getting their sticky mits on them via cairn and david evans. I just tried a dummy sale for 13000 and got quoted 69.74p. I nearly confirmed, i wont be trying that again. | slartybartfaster
23/11/2017 15:54 | I was joking about the 100k i just forgot to wink. lol | pglancy
23/11/2017 15:51 | ref 29432 shows tht sum are wideofthe mark cld this overhng be the warants? shockhorrorlol | fathenry
23/11/2017 15:40 | Despite all the talk of institutional buyers, the last couple of days I've barely been able to get a quote to sell a bean (not that I want to)! Surely this indicates there is a large overhang to clear or a large seller? Currently the max I can sell is 300 shares! Good job I don't need the cash! | f3rdinand
23/11/2017 15:18 | These 100k trades are definitely buys! Me too risky, hopefully we get a holdings RNS soon! | primal123 |
