12/2/2019 11:59 | I'm still waiting in the bus shelter. Often when one bus is delayed another few are not far behind. Come on Number 73. | wbodger

05/2/2019 15:51 | Obiang Lima said the April licensing round would offer at least seven blocks but six more could be if additional blocks were reclaimed from the concession holders before April. Obviously he’s in a fix. Its deep water and unproven. If one or two of the big oils walk away, he’ll have some explaining to do higher up! Serve him right? But where do we go from here? Is 55p still all they will get offered? Black Rock might settle it one way or tother. | rayrac
05/2/2019 14:58 | Interesting. Looks like the minister may have been a bit misguided, when he stated there were other interested parties looking to take it. Reality is, not currently enough sufficient resource to make it a land processing plant, the floating Lng seems the only way forward, unless more drilling and proving up takes place. Let's see how much interest is shown!! | arteespresso
05/2/2019 14:51 | Good luck getting any interest - treat people like mugs you won't get very far. | nigelpm
04/2/2019 12:54 | Kite builds up 4% | spacedust

03/2/2019 13:06 | They’ll only walk if there’s a better bid. | rayrac
01/2/2019 22:14 | If they do walk it will teach the vultures a lesson...... | general george
01/2/2019 19:14 | The hedge funds have already managed to get >10% - it won't take long. | nigelpm
01/2/2019 18:37 | The offer documents haven't come out yet, let alone the first count of the vote. It's much too early to talk of Medco walking away. Fwiw, I'd expect Medco to win the threshold 75% at 55p. Ophir will have sounded out their major shareholders. Will those who have arrived late, hoping for an extra penny or two, total >25%? Probably not? | ed 123
01/2/2019 17:30 | I think Medco will walk now - don't see their appetite to get involved in this at all. | nigelpm
01/2/2019 17:12 | Closing auction uncrossed at the full 55p. Interesting. Medco need 75% support to acquire under the scheme but there is a condition allowing them to proceed by takeover instead. Using the takeover method they'd need only 50% +1 share to gain control. So, if some institutions try to get the offer increased, and Medco think they may not get to the 75%, Medco may move to a takeover offer? The shares were 54.3p to sell for a lot of today. After that closing auction, we might see another couple of tenths of a penny on that? Spread of 54.5/54.7p on Monday? | ed 123
01/2/2019 17:00 | What price have they bought at ? | spacedust
01/2/2019 16:48 | I agree although it could well make the bid fail | nigelpm |
