ðŸ¤-SALE BY SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT ANNOUNCED BY 8:00 AM FEB 19ðŸ'ŒYOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK 😊 AND YOU ARE VERY WELCOME😊ðŸ'ŸðŸ–¤ðŸ–¤ðŸ'–ðŸ'–ðŸ'œThe more their proxy Citigroup /Pareto have bought in the higher holders profits at t/o:ðŸ'–ðŸ'–ðŸ'ŸðŸ'ŸPeel Hunt issued a recent note on the company.#Valuation and recommendation. Following the above tweaks to the production profile and capex, we revise our core NAV to 392p from 387p. We continue to conservatively include no value in our target price for the 239MMbbl gross 2C in Shaikan, worth 34-136p/sh risked-unrisked.Gulf Keystone Petroleum continues to stand out as one of our top sector picks and we reiterate Buy.#They are being super CONSERVATIVE 🌋ðŸ'‹!They use 58% WI when we now know it remains 80%.So their core valuation must be revised by this, 38% higher. The do not place any value on 2C, actually 330m at 80% WI, and even at a very modest $ 2.3 boe this adds further £2 plus. They are only using $3.4 boe for 2P when MOL report $8 and Shamaran higher. So low base-case in my assessment is 470m 2p, 330m 2C (which would in my be treated as effectively 2P when new FDP approved)Working on 800m 2P without adding any value for the MOL recently reported upside and using a stil very modest $10 boe provides $ 8bn asset resource value. This is still very modest in that a land based resource of this size would be strongly fought over by IOC.With 229 million shares, using dollar exchange of 1.29, £ 27 per share would be the minimum I would expect the company’s major owners to accept. It would not be a surprise to me if this number doubled.🎈

I'm still waiting in the bus shelter. Often when one bus is delayed another few are not far behind. Come on Number 73.

Sands was 11% not hsbc.

Today sands gone from 11% to 13%
Hsbc 15%

Hardly any in free float. This will sell above 55p

The Battle of Zama is a reality in the past, where history can not be changed, but, an opportunity to seek understanding for the paradox that is about to present itself.

Obiang Lima said the April licensing round would offer at least seven blocks but six more could be if additional blocks were reclaimed from the concession holders before April.

Obviously he’s in a fix. Its deep water and unproven. If one or two of the big oils walk away, he’ll have some explaining to do higher up! Serve him right?

But where do we go from here? Is 55p still all they will get offered? Black Rock might settle it one way or tother.

Interesting. Looks like the minister may have been a bit misguided, when he stated there were other interested parties looking to take it. Reality is, not currently enough sufficient resource to make it a land processing plant, the floating Lng seems the only way forward, unless more drilling and proving up takes place. Let's see how much interest is shown!!

The offer documents haven't come out yet, let alone the first count of the vote. It's much too early to talk of Medco walking away.

Fwiw, I'd expect Medco to win the threshold 75% at 55p. Ophir will have sounded out their major shareholders.

Will those who have arrived late, hoping for an extra penny or two, total >25%? Probably not?

I think Medco will walk now - don't see their appetite to get involved in this at all.

Closing auction uncrossed at the full 55p. Interesting.

Medco need 75% support to acquire under the scheme but there is a condition allowing them to proceed by takeover instead. Using the takeover method they'd need only 50% +1 share to gain control. So, if some institutions try to get the offer increased, and Medco think they may not get to the 75%, Medco may move to a takeover offer?

The shares were 54.3p to sell for a lot of today. After that closing auction, we might see another couple of tenths of a penny on that? Spread of 54.5/54.7p on Monday?
