12/12/2017 06:36 | Nick Cooper, Chief Executive of Ophir, commented: "The discussions we have had in recent weeks make us more confident than ever that shareholders will realise significant value from Fortuna." | imjustdandy
12/12/2017 01:55 | With Oil pushing $65bbl and news on a successful Fortuna financing .....I can't see OPHR staying in the 60's for too much longer. | badger60
11/12/2017 14:35 | If it puts on 10pps then it probably joins the FTSE 250 club.......in which case it will rerate..... | badger60
11/12/2017 14:26 | No chance - confirmation is fully expected - might put on 10p but no way straight to £1 on open. | nigelpm
11/12/2017 13:41 | Confirmation of funding this week is the catalyst for a big re rate. | imjustdandy
11/12/2017 13:01 | .....and oil is as well... | badger60
11/12/2017 12:22 | And lift off | imjustdandy
11/12/2017 11:43 | Don't think so Nigel. If funding secured the straight to £1 . Expecting confirmation this week per last RNS. | imjustdandy
11/12/2017 11:06 | I think there'll be a chance to buy on the day of an announcement so I'm holding on for now but have plenty tucked away. | nigelpm
11/12/2017 10:57 | Bought a few more today...... | badger60
08/12/2017 12:58 | Hopefully monday 7am | imjustdandy
08/12/2017 12:57 | Ophir expects to be in a positon to select one of these options and to finalise the financing arrangements for the Project by mid-December 2017. | imjustdandy
08/12/2017 11:30 | Agree - mkt cap only £400m before the big one comes on board. Funding next week then boom. £1 easy | imjustdandy
08/12/2017 10:29 | A very undervalued company imo. Also still under the radar. If Fortuna, and especially Mexico contain what's written on the box we should have a valuation in the £ bbs. Just look at Tullow Oil .... heavily in debted ($3.5 bn)....appx 80k bbd @ $40-$45 appx all in cost and a mkt cap of £2.5bn. | badger60
08/12/2017 10:18 | Funding news next week and hopefully we're off and running | imjustdandy
07/12/2017 08:20 | Who are 'they' and what is 'it'? Ta. | ed 123
07/12/2017 08:14 | Looks like they are leaving it to the last day ! | jotoha2
07/12/2017 02:36 | OPHR recovered 50% of initial losses today which is a good sign especially with the fall in the poo. This, imo is a company which is now committed to running efficiently and maximising shareholder value by prudent and intelligent management of assets, and hopefully they seem to have learnt from their recent painful rightoffs. Given the emission laws coming into effect in 2020, and the increase in LNG powered ships being commissioned, Ophir shareholders are very well placed to benefit substantially. Despite the delay in the FLNG Fortuna project funding, which we are assured is close to being resolved, with their strong balance sheet and financing headroom I am continuing to increase my holding at these levels. FWIW Ophirs recently acquired Mexico asset is adjacent to the PMO Zama field, where they have estimated reserves of up to 2bn bbl..... | badger60
23/11/2017 18:00 | So they are seeking alternative funding sources , could this include a JV possibly with Exxon who have major interests in the area , not long to wait , it's a done deal , just need to see the details. | jotoha2
23/11/2017 17:31 | Nice to see someone more optimistic, just like the share price rise today the 1 month chart looks much better than the 3 month | master rsi
23/11/2017 16:45 | Pleased to see a 4% rise into the close, not the big jump we all want. We all know that the right news here could give us a 40% or more increase in a single session. Here's to optimism! | romeike
23/11/2017 15:35 | Ah, yes, ta, Romeike. :-) And Nigelpm. :-) | ed 123 |
