Interesting they print a 120k delayed buy just 2 mins after a 99k sale suggesting it was a worked order.

Thanks TOG

The buyback if it happens will be a tender offer not just random buying in the market. It will take time to organise and will likely be early Q2 next year.

At least that is my understanding how it is likely to work.

Alternatively they will build cash and take this private. I hope they do it at no less than a 20% discount to book value.

PLF’s are operating at maximum capacity finally. The good times are about to role. Whether it will be listed in its current form 2 years from now where we get to see all the benefits is questionable. Still I think an 18 month price target is about 35p. That would still leave another 20p on the table if it was taken private.

Tim

Can the buyback now take place ?

It's just the online bid is up to 12.575p despite selling yesterday and today
so could be a order in.

They're probably waiting for the lad who was supposed to do the investor presentation to get better

I'm more interested into what happens to the share price when the buybacks start
which was passed today in the resolutions :-))

Did anyone make it to the AGM? No AGM trading update released. All feels a bit hush hush at the moment

The AGM is early next week, it’s possible the interim results will have to wait a little. The senior management may not have caught up yet with the work backlog, hence why the presentation has not gone ahead (in addition to the fact that it has become out of date).

Cenkos buy order maybe

Goes to 12p bid takes a big sale and a 250k trade pops up at mid which must be a buy

Cenkos up on the bid must be a delayed buy to show around 9.27pm

Been reading a lot of results this morning, some stocks 30 mil market caps with really poor numbers and poor cash, just makes you think and hope OPG is just outstanding value with all that cash and profitable again.

I thought the same tim, it's too close to the interims, they will probably do one after they have released them.

"just the way the company is run"

My priority is profits, cash generation, cash pile and share buybacks or even a bid at a huge premium.

I can understand somebody being ill and not doing a presentation, I was knocked out for 2 weeks recently no way would I like to make a live presentation.

ps I bought another 2 lots of 25k so 3 lots today in total

Yes, but circumstances change. Probably the CFO was ill, assuming he’s now better the presentation is no longer timely. You expect management to be proactive, right? I agree the management could be more communicative with investors, and I’d value a presentation with the chance to ask questions. But now after the interims is appropriate.

It's not a question of what you think, it's what they said they'd do! Given the concerns about governance often expressed here, lame excuses about illness followed by talk of rescheduling "in the near future" followed by silence don't inspire confidence. I'm not knocking the figures, just the way the company is run.

Dropping on a £700 sale jeez these mm's are getting worse.

They are shaking stocks everywhere on the smallest of sales.

I've just added another 25k at 12.415p

All sales and bid up, lets wait until 14.05pm and see what delayed buy pops up
to move PEEL to 12p bid

Yep 20k sold just now at just 12p

Got money aside for another 100k but might as well back off and let these impatient people sell out for a cheaper buy price

Obviously comparisons are just for fun especially in different sectors I noticed in today's top fallers a stock called PEBB, similar net cash and EBITDA but £150 mil market cap 3 times that of OPG which as always seems to be suffering from a poor rating although that might change when results are released, how many people are actually aware they have published them in India already, unless you read the OPG threads here and LSE they will have no idea and people still sell every day I wonder if they are aware too ?

Anyway these are Pebb numbers

Whilst we expect Facilisgroup to achieve revenue growth in the year, order intake at Brand Addition has been lower than anticipated and Group revenues for FY 23 are expected to be approximately GBP124m (FY 22: GBP134.0m). As the Group has continued to generate stronger gross margins in FY 23 compared to the prior year, the impact of the revenue reduction is expected to be partially mitigated, and deliver Group EBITDA of approximately GBP16m (FY 22: GBP18.0m), maintaining Group EBITDA margins close to FY 22.

Our cash position remains robust, and the Group expects net cash as at 31 December 2023 to be no less than prior year net cash of GBP15.1m, after continued capital investment into Facilisgroup and the payment of a dividend of GBP1.0m in June 2023.

Got another 50k at the open around 12.79p, it's still just over mid price to buy atm.

People simply refuse to invest or trade dull stocks, everybody wants momentum and fast money now so OPG remains totally off the radar until news.
