If they post the results in late July (early estimate) any guesses on when the ex-div date would be?

You won't see any action until final results. From there, and with H1 in Nov, we'll get the big moves.

Hmm not sure why it’d get that low?

Agree re buying and value but I just wish they would articulate a clear plan to return cash..unless there is tax or capital control reason why?

Disagree- picked up another 200,000 this am. Best time to buy is when no one is talking about a stock, esp when fwd ebitda c.£40m and mgmt through their greed (via the incentive plan) have laid a clear marker that 30p is a med term floor for them.atb

Good lord this is dull!! Absolutely no buying interest at all, unsurprisingly! I just wish they would outline a clear strategy with regards cash return.

Eps is likely to be around 5p. They could pay a 2p interim and the rest out via a final. Or a recurring underlying 2p with the rest as a special.

Whoops my bad I didn't clarify. Was looking at the float number because historically Gupta always goes for the Scrip.

PPVN - There are 387.91m shares in issue. So a 1p divi would cost them £3.88m, not £1.75m

The forecast is 1.2p from the broker I believe, but there is potentially scope for a little more than that.

Old habits die hard!

Hopefully less for the boondoggles and more for the working cap...!

Seconded - with EBITDA around £35mm this year and with them dedicating around £20mm to paying down debt, each 1p of dividends costs them around £1.75mm so it leaves £15mm to settle taxes, working capital etc. I'd personally hope for a dividend of at least 2p cash this year because if they feel they are really undervalued a yield of around 10% shouldn't be out of the question. If they pay out a penny it'll be a disappointment to the market.

So if they pay out 2p that then leaves £11mm for their tax, working capital, boondoggles etc.

andycapp1. I have looked at the video again and could not hear any reference to the point that have raised. In conversation with Dmitri I get the feeling that payment of a decent dividend, amongst other things, is an important factor in re-establishing trust in the Company.

Heat wave in india at the moment 47 degrees in delhi. Need to keep the aircon on. Mate of mine is over there and says that black outs are pretty common. These folk need power.

FYI here's Dmitri's 28 minute presentation for a Shares investor evening:

OT : does anyone have a direct link to the relevant coal price chart? Perhaps I could get igoe104 to put the link in the thread header post for ease of use.

Any ideas when the full year results are out? Incidentally, coal price now falling near to lows of May 2017, or does that not matter much any more since OPG have secured future coal supply at 'locked in' prices...
