02/10/2017 13:56 | The current bid for 25k is 24.85p. Which if the offer price is as shown @ 25p, its the narrowest spread I can ever recall seeing. Not counting three trades @ 24.25p all timed at 10.49hrs totalling 550k, the difference between Buys V Sells, volumes is closing. . | azalea
02/10/2017 13:06 | I'm fully invested so have no idea or can test how many shares is available online at 25p but suspect it's not many and our overhang is close to clearing. | dave4545
02/10/2017 12:51 | The last medium-term signal was also a bullish inverted hammer, generated on 15 Sep 2017 Intermediate-Term Bullish Volume 2,834,879 Close Price 25.75 Pattern Duration 1 day Inbound Trend Duration 5 days | turbocharge
02/10/2017 12:48 | Last five short-term chart signals have all been bullish, the latest one: 29 Sep 2017 Relative Strength Index (RSI) Short-Term Bullish Volume 4,777,493 Close Price 24.25 Pattern Duration 1 day We may be seeing higher prices as the price seems to be recovering from oversold as losses on down periods (over the last 14 bars) are no longer overwhelming gains on up periods to the same extent | turbocharge
02/10/2017 12:13 | dave4545 - 681 A distressed seller at that, of 2m shares(1m last week and a further 1m today); totalling circa 0.5698% of 1%; with no detrimental affects on the share price Whist I am not a chartist, I agree, if the buying momentum continues, and the seller dies a death, we could well see a notable recovery take place. | azalea
02/10/2017 11:02 | Chart looking more promising for a bounce. The volume suggests a bounce all we need is to clear this seller and I think it will race up to the 30-40 range | dave4545

01/10/2017 18:03 | Having pored over the annual report this weekend, I was quite interested to see that the Director bonuses are related to two things: 1. A shareprice of over £1, and over £1.30. 2. Some additional capacity growth (presumably ties in to the Solar) 3. A total dividend of 3p being paid up to the end of FY18 (i.e, including FY17 div.) Now, I know directors do love a good bonus, so I would assume a 2p divi for FY18, unless they get totally shafted by the coal price increase. At a share price of 24.5p, that would be just over 8% yield. Page 37 - Long Term Incentive Plan on the report, if you don't believe me :) | lizardman_
30/9/2017 13:08 | TC - 3676 The two investment ratings should give rise to a number of their clients buying into OPG; after all, there's a potential circa 200%+ profit to be made. | azalea
30/9/2017 12:45 | 31 August 2017 Macquarie today reaffirms its outperform investment rating on OPG Power Ventures PLC and cut its price target to 90p (from 120p). 30 August 2017 Cantor Fitzgerald today reaffirms its buy investment rating on OPG Power Ventures PLC and cut its price target to 101p (from 124p). | turbocharge
29/9/2017 15:05 | My instinct tells me this is not a get rich quick share to hold. But chances are you will be rewarded if you are willing to hold longer term... | turbocharge
29/9/2017 14:53 | Long time since I looked at these, good earnings but plenty of debt which looks manageable. A 3 year fall is miserable for anyone who's held through it. | celeritas
29/9/2017 14:38 | TC It will be interesting to see what the IC says next week. | azalea
29/9/2017 13:56 | All over the shop, full offer buys looking promising then sales at 24p. I'd be surprised if all the buying today and none is directors. | dave4545
29/9/2017 13:13 | Incidentally, the last IC recommendation on OPG Power Ventures PLC shares was Buy at 31.00 on 30 Aug 2017 | turbocharge
29/9/2017 12:57 | Seller out for me 1 million at 23.25p so maybe that is why it's rising and looking strong now full offer to buy. | dave4545

29/9/2017 12:27 | 2 x 50k buys just now, has the feel that directors have been buying, might have to wait until Monday to find out | dave4545
29/9/2017 12:24 | Great volume. If it can climb from here it might bounce a bit. Director buying would be nice. | dave4545
29/9/2017 09:55 | I have taken a new small position in OPG again today, whilst maintaining my focus on HCM which continues to provide stunning returns | nerdofsteel
29/9/2017 08:32 | Having sold out at a much higher level (at a loss) I have bought a couple of lots this morning. | this_is_me
29/9/2017 08:26 | A nothing RNS. This helps me not a jot! Only thing I subliminally do read is their solar ambitions are being reigned back I think. Quite right too it's too competitive and they are ponderous. | andycapp1
29/9/2017 07:57 | This_is_me Thanks for that, still scary though | dave4545 |
