Tut tut. A quick circa 2p net profit taken by sellers/traders was not to be sniffed at. Each to their own. I would feel extremely flattered if I thought for one moment that anything I said on this thread, influenced holders one way or another. I agree with dave4545 last sentence, post 3584.

In all my emails to VN Swami, asking for non price sensitive info on OPG, I have received a personal reply. Perhaps it helps that we have met and I was born in India in a location, which he is not unfamiliar with.

Desperate sellers today if you ask me. I bet some of them that sold bought at 29p+
when it was moving up strongly.

26.5p or less is going to look a good price this time next week I will risk saying.

Utter bo...cks Flowerhead. It is part of his job. That IR guy Paliwel is utterly useless so it's Gupta or Swami that should be assisting. Writing his contribution....pull the other one!

OPG back down yet again, any gain with this share is short lived.
You should know better azalea, to starting dinging away after a 2p rise, because all that happens it go back to lower lows.

I've had email response, which was a standard response.

He has to me on several occasions. It just might be that he is very busy writing up his contribution to the Prelims.

I sent an email to vnswamiopg@gmail.com over a week ago, still no response or even acknowledgement. Do you know if they usually respond...

The trouble is there are ongoing sellers and until the wretched Company provides the market with a lot more clarity then the shares will go nowhere - why should they? Yes on an NPV basis they are probably cheap but you cant really assess the NPV until you have more clarity on coal prices, hedging policy, whether they are anywhere near covenants etc. They also have to provide some clarity on their overall return on capital as it is clear that at least one plant is not making a positive return on capital and is unlikely, at least for the next few years, to produce any sort of return to equity at all - in other words it has been a mistake building it. If they could sell it and generate any sort of payback for equity they should do so....but they wont because of their reckless pursuit of scale and MWs.

Got 15k max online when it touched 28p offer but now it's not far off that again around 28.12p to buy. Results should give this low price a boost one hopes.

Flowerpotheadman you might have been waiting seven years so I'm not sure that holds true!! Try something that is remotely insightful here (although my saying "down it goes" is not exactly that, I admit). No what they want to do is clarify, something they seem very poor at.

28.25 now! Anyhow point is it's not going to go up v much until they provide clarity on covenants, hedging, dividend etc. Their statement reiterating dub policy was cretinous. If they don't make any earnings then on the current policy we won't get a dividend!!

That was not my question; If, I otherwise did not agree with you I would no longer be holding OPG, whose share price I expect to see rise before and after the 25/9.
