05/6/2018 10:21 | Gujarat is non recourse so Tamil Nadu alone probably worth 35-45p depending on how generous you are. Gujarat needs coal at 30 amongst other things if it will eventually be worth 30p itself. | the original goldbug
05/6/2018 10:19 | Grinding higher | opodio
05/6/2018 09:55 | Tariffs are increasing and coal price going down . In business if the top line continues to grow (at an improved margin) and your costs are heading down then I'd expect more profit and cash and a corresponding share price. Share price has hit the bottom | imjustdandy
05/6/2018 09:27 | Thanks for the helpful replies guys. Im not an expert in power generation by any means but I would have thought the cost of coal was the same for the competition therefore would be easily passed onto customers. I assume demand for power is on the increase in India along with the price of coal? | spadman
05/6/2018 09:17 | john09- iwas so intrigued about SCSW's take last time and the editor seems a clever guy guy - are you sure this will rise further? | ali47fish
05/6/2018 09:11 | And they are not going back to 30p in this. They will, as they do, rise abut then dribble back. Until something sustainably or structurally changes the shares won’t move much. This isn’t it. It merely preserves the optionality a bit longer. | andycapp1
05/6/2018 09:08 | Optionality dear boy, optionality! That’s why I hold them. I’m not happy with them, but I hold them! | andycapp1
05/6/2018 09:08 | Going back to 30p next few weeks | imjustdandy
05/6/2018 09:05 | Wait for the SCSW front page write up due either next issue or the following one imho | john09
05/6/2018 09:03 | The RNS was excellent news, we going to have deramper, makes a interesting few weeks where this going to go. NORTH, short term to around 25p. | amrishbhim
05/6/2018 08:56 | And yet up over 10% | john09
05/6/2018 08:55 | Superb update??! Are you smoking weed or something? It says nothing. Gururat up in air and might be sold; solar so what? It shows they aren’t breaching covenants but that is all. Says nothing. | andycapp1
05/6/2018 08:25 | Looks like I bought 2 weeks too early at 18.25p But long term this will be a winner. | john09
05/6/2018 08:23 | At last something positive from this share, hopefully some good press should push opg over 30p over the coming weeks. | igoe104
05/6/2018 08:19 | Market needed that update | imjustdandy
05/6/2018 08:15 | Good volume. Too cheap. Hold on | john09
05/6/2018 08:15 | Superb update. Now moving off 52 week low. Back to 30p in no time. | imjustdandy
05/6/2018 08:05 | I think we will start moving upwards soon | john09
05/6/2018 08:04 | Nice set of results. Tariffs increasing, coal price reducing, production staying strong, solar coming. Surely bottom share price has been hit now. Good to be back in OPG after 2 years out of it | tipster29
05/6/2018 07:58 | There are three min before one can buy | onjohn
05/6/2018 07:36 | Superb update Roll on 40p | onjohn
03/6/2018 16:53 | Last 2 months the price of Indonesian coal has dropped. Am waiting to see if it’s 3 months in a row. I think it will be given China are reducing imports from Indonesia . | john09
03/6/2018 16:01 | Fair enough John, however Indonesian coal is clearly influenced by the prevailing coal price in general. The articles you reference state that Indonesian coal was up 7% in May this year compared to May last year. Therefore regardless of whether you follow Indonesian coal price or prevailing coal price it is clear that OPG's coal costs are going up, not down compared to this time last year. | timbob2000
02/6/2018 20:13 | That’s not Indonesian coal | john09
02/6/2018 20:09 | John - Coal price from here: hxxps://tradingecono | timbob2000 |
