Exercise of Share Options

Open Orphan plc (ORPH), a rapidly growing specialist CRO pharmaceutical services company which is the world leader in the testing of vaccines and antivirals using human challenge clinical trials announces that following the exercise of share options by a former hVIVO employee, application has been made to AIM for the admission of 2,099,500 new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each (the "New Ordinary Shares"). Admission to trading on AIM of the New Ordinary Shares ("Admission"), which will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing shares in issue, is expected to occur on the 4(th) of November 2020.

Following Admission, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in issue will be 667,979,196 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
