Pogue beat me to it.

In terms of the legality I guess it would just be a declarable related party transaction requiring an RNS typical of when a director buys or sells shares in their own company.

Opinion only.

When someone has a moment.
Could you please explain the connection between ORPH and SPC. Surely SPC cannot benefit at ORPH expense?

Klosters,

CF's now family investment vehicle inadvertently crossed 3% holding in SPC. Because UK SPAC is a cash shell there has been speculation that it might be used as a listing vehicle for an ORPH asset. In interview CF stated that investors should not get the "wrong idea" about that investment.

FWIW, I hold both. If CF is interested enough to have that kind of sum in the future direction of SPC then I am willing to follow with some modest speculative funds and sit patiently.

Hope that helps.

The link is CF's investment vehicle, Raglan Capital, has a 3% stake in SPC and ORPH is looking to float off some assets. If SPC were to be the vehicle to float one of them then the share price would rise as it would then actually have something to make money on. My issue is can CF buy shares in a company he is going to put an asset from ORPH into. I admit I dont know the legalities of that.

Additionally, they have now built a brand new 46 bed CHIM quarantine clinic facility (due to open in Sept ’21) and wish to “expand…Human Challenge Trials” (without having any appropriate CHIM models, experienced staff or any known plannedctive CHIM studies in progress?).

Trader_3
not trying to pick holes in your excellent research just want to add to it, I have always expected SGS to buy us just not this soon.
SGS have 2 CHIMs models according to my notes, not sure where I got the info originally probably via CF words in a presentation. On a quick google search there maybe more, see link below, plus the link you provided states they have conducted CHIMs

News keeps getting better here...
This is not even a phase 2 ready universal flu vaccine we are phase 3 ready with our Immutex one.

Cidara Therapeutics inked a deal worth up to $780 million with Johnson & Johnson to develop and commercialize Cidara’s candidate CD388 for the prevention and treatment of seasonal and pandemic influenza......

Under terms of the collaboration, Cidara will be responsible for the development and manufacturing of the CD388 through Phase II clinical development. Janssen will be in charge of late-stage development, as well as manufacturing and global commercialization. In addition to the upfront payment, Cidara is eligible to receive up to an aggregate of $753 million in budgeted R&D funding and in development, regulatory and commercial milestones, plus tiered royalties on worldwide sales.

Many thanks Trader_3! Having heard about "telegram" but never been involved with it, it is nice to see some info shared here where I tend to hang out the most. If all the dots really do align then it will be good timing re: my entry today. Most of the time such speculation never comes to pass, but here is hoping!

Just finished listening/watching an interview (link provided here earlier) and do like the way the Cathal says DIM could be bigger than ORPH down the road. He must be pretty confident to be stating something like that and also the 500M lower MCAP if all doesn't work out as planned. If it does then anywhere between 500-1000M! Should be an exciting journey.

During the session, Astrid Krueger asked Dr Chiu a question, as per below:

“Will you or hVIVO own any intellectual property or data, relating to the Covid challenge study model and how do you plan to share these assets with other entities?”

To which Dr Chiu replied:

“Our aim is to share the model and expertise as widely as possible. We will be publishing the protocol and are very open to collaboration. There are IP considerations relating to the GMP virus but do contact me if you wish to discuss”.

Rereading this after the comment by Extrader to my point regards an agreement being needed for DiM to access the data once it is spun off if someone buys ORPH I think Dr Chui did not understand the question. I think Astrid was talking about DiM's data.

Added again this morning, just can’t see anything but huge growth ahead. A holding announcement from a new buyer would just take us still higher but as one looking to hold for the longer term, even a pullback wouldn’t worry me.
