pogue, they are buying time, trying to keep us down, appeasing us if you will. Timescales have already gone back and will continue to do so IMHO. How can you possibly vaccinate on such a huge scale not knowing if it is safe to do so? I am not the biggest fan of this Government, but anyone with a modicum of intelligence must realise that is reckless at best.

not a wind up a thought that the government wont care to wait for the challenge study results and jab people anyway. The BS coming out of the companies that have so far produced and 'tested' them is astounding and the government seem to be happy to swallow it up I can see a scenario where they jab us and play down any side effects that occur of falsify data as they are doing with the stuff they are putting out now on CV19 death numbers etc.

Pogue, I’m not sure from the way your post 8642 is worded if you’re talking about jabbing the populace with the Orph CHIM jab, or one of the 3 new vaccines. Consequently I don’t know if the posts a wind up, or a genuine concern. Can you clarify please?

If they do that, I will not be having one, as I think that will be totally irresponsible. I will be astonished if they do that.

I have found something for you to worry about. The CV19 challenge studies may not go ahead if the government jabs the populace with them first to appease the media without running a test. That is a worry for me as I am on the list to get jabbed hence my thinking about it. There will however be more vaccines in due course but that will delay the payment of the remaining 3 x £7.5 millions or maybe one or two of them.

Despite all the goods news surrounding ORPH I think the market may now be in a phase where some investments are being shifted back from the AIM market to the main FTSE market. AIM companies generally don’t pay dividends whereas the main market does. However lots of the main market Companies stopped paying dividends to conserve cash after COVID reared its head, and thus the main market then lost a big part of its attraction for investors.

I’m pretty sure I’ve read that since COVID reared it’s head earlier this year, AIM stocks have outperformed the main market, thus indicating more money has been invested in AIM, at the main markets expense. As confidence returns, on the back of vaccine announcements, large investment has now very recently returned to some of the Footsies big players (e.g. LLoyds, Easyjet, Rolls Royce) in anticipation of a return to ‘normal’ business, and some of this investment money will have been shifted across from AIM, by both PI’s and II’s.

Thus the good news impetus surrounding ORPH is being temporarily suppressed by more forceful general market forces.

I have a large investment here, and am not a trader, so any dips in ORPH’s price will give me and others the opportunity to top up in the coming weeks and months, before ORPH makes some big announcements that we’re all hoping for and expectant of.

Then the market will really take notice of this particular AIM stock and a big shift in investment from the main market will follow. And as for the share price then : Michael Caine, Italian Job, etc.

The current Pennant formation if broken would suggest an upside to mid 40p's.

The trading pattern is very similar every day, an early drop on early sells, more buyers coming in later in the day and an end of day push back up ready for the next day.
The market is re-balancing and I believe there are some larger buyers taking up the shares that are sold.

Sp is in a range. People sell for all sorts of reasons and a few will have had a good kicking from the retrace of a lot of the covid stocks. We will get flack from that. Of course it would be nice to see the share price back in the 30's but CF has spelled out where we are and what is to come. I am very chilled. Chart is fine, the business is even better. Impatience can be your own worst enemy. We struggled to get over 16.5p and than bang people pilled in and as sure as grass is green that will happen again.

This business has more cash in the Bank than it had market cap 6 months ago. I think we need to take a step back and see what has been achieved.

edit, I also believe that once we break and hold above our recent high of 32p, we will see a share price of 48p relatively quickly. I have a TA reason for that, but lets see how it pans out. DYOR, no advice intended.

I cannot understand people selling. Very short termist view imho
If CF is as good as his word then this is surely a “no brainer”
Folk should be adding, not selling

"We need independent unbiased challenge studies to prove their effectiveness and safety IMO"

We certainly do. It all seems a little on the reckless side to me right now, but then what we are told and what will happen is chalk and cheese.

After proper scrutiny of the successes rates of the vaccine from the American companies 94% effectiveness etc I would not be surprised if they dropped to 50-60%
These companies are under huge pressure to produce positive results which will make those involved extremely wealthy .I wonder if these results were independent or in house. We need independent unbiased challenge studies to prove their effectiveness and safety IMO

If 10,000 volunteers were given a covid vaccine and a year from now some started to fall ill due to side effects as has happened in the past with vaccines, what then?
As far as I am concerned governments should not allow this sort of hit and miss method risking many hero's
Far better imo to have safe carefully monitored challenge tests using a mild form of the virus on a few medically checked individuals. Even WHO says it is an acceptable method.

The challenge studies will not only provide important evidence of how the vaccines work under different circumstances, age, physical health, etc individuals who have specific needs eg diabetes or other such illnesses but the data that will be acquired will be extremely valuable when negotiating the sale or leasing to a wearable companies.Don't forget that the more data that is acquired the more valuable it becomes.
