09/11/2020 08:01 | Over half the mcap in cash and £1.4m of EBITDA plus whatever TCAP may be worth, this looks so undervalued. | the shuffle man
09/11/2020 07:39 | Why not post on the main thread rather than starting a new one every time for one post ? | harrogate
02/10/2020 12:10 | Oh missed that, so performance is good on that catalogue. | yump
02/10/2020 07:34 | Encouraging news this morning, OMIP.....one to tuck away :-) | cheshire man
24/9/2020 09:51 | Topped up today - there seem to be quite a few around to but below the placing price so we need some news flow to get us moving - would be surprised if no business done before the October year end | harrogate
27/8/2020 20:36 | Agreed, sound long term business plan. Added quite a few to my SIPP recently | lukehold
27/8/2020 19:41 | I've got a load of these in a SIPP now, on the basis that it seems to be a proper long-termer. If the model works, which appears to be the case, then there will be repeat dilutions to raise more funds for rights buying. However, sssuming those purchases are OK, OMIP could be building up a business where for each million spent, the future returns accelerate. Because the royalty income per share will experience compound growth (ie. all the previous royalty streams are still going, when you add some more) and each million spent becomes a smaller proportion of the company's share capital. I think. Although I'm not a mathematician and although my son is doing theoretical Astrophysics which is all maths, he seems to have no interest in the world of financial calculations, (other than tapping us for cash of course) ;-) | yump
25/8/2020 12:22 | Bought an intial holding at 6.75p last week, then averaged up at 7.25p earlier. | tiltonboy
25/8/2020 11:00 | Going the right way now - soon be 8p imo | clocktower
24/8/2020 13:00 | SP seems to have settled and I expect a recovery before very long. | clocktower
24/8/2020 07:47 | Baronsmead Venture Trust plc Baronsmead Venture Trust plc Increased their holdings I see | cheshire man
21/8/2020 18:05 | yump - that type have the social skills to talk the talk but are as much use as a eunuch is to a nymphomaniac and subsequently can never deliver an offspring, or satisfy and meet the harems needs. | clocktower
21/8/2020 11:47 | I wonder if this has bottomed out or has a little more to give before piling in? If there is another dump, I guess it could just go sub 6p. Trying to hit base camp is such a hard call. | clocktower
20/8/2020 08:40 | That sale yesterday was either Grade or Dunleavy dumping their entire holding. Probably expect the other one to do the same so plenty to buy. I topped up below the placing price so happy enough | harrogate
19/8/2020 21:27 | Looks like that large 8m share trade was the cause of today's drop. Couldn't help but top up below the placing price. | the shuffle man
19/8/2020 09:43 | Without doubt a very good deal was struck with money being raised at such a small discount, and a future good investment at the current level. | clocktower
19/8/2020 09:14 | Harrogate My mistake its not part catalogues - that would be really difficult ! | yump
19/8/2020 08:13 | Seems a good time to get in here | lukehold
19/8/2020 07:12 | When they say that they are buying 30% of an artist's catalogue I think they are buying 30% of it all not buying a selection of the catalogue so the monitoring of the asset is no different from when they buy it outright. - one of the attractions to the artist is that OMIP increase the artist's share as well as their own through their work using TCAT etc. | harrogate
18/8/2020 17:55 | I think as artist asset release is a completely new market, it should get a lot of news coverage. | yump
18/8/2020 17:53 | Ged5 Well fund-raising should be out of the way for a good while. The next bit of news should be which part catalogues they acquire although up to now I’m not familiar with the artists they’ve got - which I guess is the point. They’re not in the multi-million business of buying rights from Pink Floyd etc ! So its probably the multiples they appear to buy at that will be more important and the first news of income streams from them. | yump |
