Love Michael Infante's commentary. A man of wit and intelligence.

hTTp://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/OMIP/13544913.html Excellent results. Back on their profitable growth track with no debt and very pleasing cash generation. Already more than bagged for me, and short, medium and long term there appears far more to come. Streaming music has now clearly reached its inflection point.

Nice statement - optimistic outlook, so focus will move to coming year's forecast which puts the rating on that of a boring utility, when it should be a lot more, especially as it looks like this is just the start.

Exactly dibs. It's a stock for holding. And leaving for a while. Although Traditional music revenues are down from what they used to be, this new copyright tool will make up for that in the long run. It just needs its time to prove and be accepted properly, then omip will be able to start gathering more meaningful income from it once the big labels start being able to quantify the value to them from lost business due to copyright infringements and unauthorised sales, playbacks, etc.

Looks like one or two traders chanced their arm yesterday and sold out this morning. Do your research this is NOT a trading stock.

Luckily ? I decided to believe the November update (turning point etc.) and combined with the long flat share price that prompted me to buy quite a few back then. No selling for me until the rating catches up significantly with the forecasts - assuming they come to pass of course, but I think they are quite old and possibly subject to being upgraded. Plus of course if they start delivering growth a lot more notice will be taken by other investors.

Yes I dont think tcat will add any meaningful revenue for this year, but the future potential is good. If you already hold, I would hang onto your shares.

Quite happy with looking forward to the forecast for coming year, which gives a very modest rating, while starting to grow fast. I'm assuming forecasts don't yet have anything in for TCAT.

In the tcat update for the first label signing, Michael stated... "Whilst the revenues generated from this initial contract are modest, it is a significant development for the Company as it validates and proves the technology and demonstrates its need in the market place." So I expect monetary value at present for any labels are quite low (let's face it, " modest" means nothing to brag about). So dont expect fireworks in the accounts for this year or next. But after that, who knows.

That is great but it does mean these had better each be fairly significant or the opportunity is not going to be that large doesn't it?

So there are effectively three major labels which control approx 80% of the market. They are Sony, Universal and Warner. We know we already have Sony, and now one of the other two. No reason why we shouldn’t bag the third as they’d surely be at a competitive advantage not to have this functionality.

Excellent news. OMIP have truly turned a corner. Unloved and ignored at around 3p and now look at what's happened. The beauty of micro-caps:- hTTp://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/OMIP/13538619.html Results 26th Feb.

Yes indeed. There are not that many major record labels I don't think so given what they say about staffing up and this being a bespoke offering for them I would hope that this is financially significant - Sounds exciting to me.

Sounds good. Clearly progress being made. But absolutely no mention of value, so will likely be peanuts for now, for the first year. Beyond that, value will start to unlock.

Looks like the forward p/e of about 10 has tempted a few. The sudden rise on the news of the well-known NED's might not have been particularly to do with them, but partly due to that simply bringing the business to peoples' attention - who then looked at the 'meet' statement, the financials and the outlook and thought it looked promising.

After our recent superb run looks like we may have a temporary overhang on the share price What continues to fascinate me is the substantial rerating of the shares and what is the real reason(s) behind it? (Beyond the recent NED appts)

Good start to the year. More optimistic now than ever before after being a long suffering holder. Management seem to be fired up judging by the latest social media comments.

Well if you do a bit of searching, its actually quite difficult to find anything on 'copyright analysis tools', so perhaps its unique. If you combine the search with SAAS, nothing comes up. Maybe other businesses are providing such a service as part of other legal/music services though. Maybe TCAT is one of the first instances of AI replacing some legal, expensive and time-consuming jobs. If it is, then its sure to create a big buzz imo. I can certainly remember paying a mint for patent lawyers to do searches. I imagine keeping track of tracks is also something that costs a mint if it involves them in similar searches.
