I agree. Confirmed it was a private family issue. It's also a bank holiday in Canada today which has pushed the settlement day back. I'm told it's still expected to be resolved in next 24hrs.

I had wondered if the timing and price of the Private Placement [12.5p] and the Placing [8.5p] might create an issue. [no pun intended]

OBI taking just 1% of global control market is $500m stillHalf that again if you want to be ultra conservative $250mI am trying to find long term negatives but not seeing any yet In addition to the net savings that may be achieved by incorporating Steriwave into the standard of care for surgical procedures, a long-term vision for Ondine is to see Steriwave included as a standard protocol for all in-patients across the US. While we note that it is a complex process to quantify this, the number of annual discharges from the c 6,000 hospitals in the US is estimated to be approximately 35m. More specifically, the global infection control market was valued at US$50bn in 2022 by Markets and Markets. If Ondine is successful in capturing even a small portion of the infection control market, this could result in potentially significant future revenue.

Worldwide, there are over 300 million surgeries a year.

Multiply that by C$75.

C$22,500,000,000

Exchange rate each C$ is worth about £0.56

£12,600,000,000

jb, your calcs look correct to me.

It's obviously very hard to know precisely how many patients out of the total number admitted to hospital will need nasal photo-disinfection.

Certainly anyone undergoing surgery could benefit.

Current treatments are based on anti-biotics and/or antiseptics.
eg Mupirocin, Iodine, Chlorhexidine.

Antibiotics are increasingly subject to AMR, and won't kill virus or fungal infection.

Hi jailbird, I'll check figures later on today.

The figures for reduction in HAI's and lives saved look similarly extraordinary.
