In view of the fact that rampers have arrived talking the share price to the moon(usually a good contrarian signal), and despite what I said a few posts ago, I have had a quick change of heart and decided to book some fast profits - with a view to a possible re-entry on another occasion.

Good luck those who have just bought. I do like the story.

Interesting to see rambutan2 here! I seem to remember you from successful shares in the distant past?

Not sure about charts for AIM shares Saucepan, as too often other factors affect the share price far more. e.g unfortunately once the news about OTB spreads, too many private investors could gear up via spread bets. Then those punters have to sell out to pay for losses and margin calls on other holdings. Such situations can be the time to add and not sell.

A few plus points for OTB include 70% of package holidays being booked on line, and OTB has a 17% share of the UK online market which is more than Thomas Cook and not too far behind market leader TUI travel. And the online companies haven't the huge overheads of the likes of Thomas Cook with all their staff and shops to be paid for.

Also online opportunities are there worldwide for the likes of OTB to exploit and expand, so it is looking promising. Against that a possible negative would be an increase in ISIS terror activity worldwide though since that is just as likely to happen in the Countries people live in, as where they holiday, even that might not have a major effect on prospects for OTB.

Me, personally, I am ready to keep running my profits provided the chart remains in an uptrend. This is still the very early stages of what could be a strong growth story.

Doesn't always slip. That's what I did last month with SCT. In never retraced, and I ended up buying in 15% over the recommendation.

Yes, results encouraging...

Simon Cooper, Chief Executive of On the Beach Group plc, commented:

"2015 has been a highly successful year for On the Beach, delivering substantial growth and culminating in our IPO in September 2015. Our results demonstrate how we are successfully building a leading position as more consumers discover the ease of use and wide choice of beach holidays that our platforms offer.

"Our customers' reaction to our flexible payment plans and cross device holiday searching experience continues to be very encouraging and we are excited by the product development innovations we delivered during the year. We continue to invest in the brand in both the UK and internationally, where we see long term growth potential. All the while we are constantly improving the customer experience and pricing to ensure we stay competitive in our market.

"The Company reached an important internal milestone in the year by arranging beach holidays for over one million customers in the UK for the first time. This would not have been possible without the commitment and passion of our team and I would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication. We have the talent, resources and resolve to build on our solid foundations and I am delighted with the progress we have made both financially and operationally as a Group.

"We have had a strong start to the new financial year and performance is in line with Board's expectations. I remain confident for the year ahead as we focus on our strategic objectives while investing to deliver long-term, sustainable returns for our shareholders. We will be providing a further trading update on the 5 February 2016."

Was waiting for these results and have to say that they look very impressive.
I am taking a stake now as I can buy for just a few pence above the IPO price.

Prelims due 9/12, although will be to 30/09 and thus pre listing. Still, a chance for the company to say something encouraging, or not, as the case will be.

On the Beach (www.onthebeach.co.uk) is a leading online retailer of affordable short-haul beach holidays, primarily targeting customers in the United Kingdom under the "On the Beach" brand. On the Beach currently has a market share of the UK online short-haul beach holiday market of approximately 17 per cent. (source: CAA, ATOL), with its two largest competitors being TUI Travel and Thomas Cook.

On the Beach's technology platform enables customers to dynamically package the constituent components of their holiday (including flights, hotels and transfers) to build custom made holidays from millions of flight and hotel combinations, as opposed to being offered pre-packaged holidays, as is the case with many traditional tour operators.

We are independent and have no fixed ties to airlines or hotels, meaning that we can offer customers a full market range of flight and hotel products bookable through online channels (including by desktop, mobiles, tablets and apps) and over the phone.

On the Beach entered the Swedish market in early 2015 and in the short term intends to expand into the wider Scandinavian market (including Norway and Denmark). www.ebeach.se
