01/10/2004 13:48 | Responsible. Good luck son. In what way do you see OFEX as being important to society ? I also have an idea for you.If you nick your mums TV,take it down the pawn shop and get £50 for it,your mum will not want to look at the TV guide, and therefore won't discover that horrible contract note.Clever eh ? You're £50 better off,and mum won't rumble you. | sugarbeast
01/10/2004 13:02 | The current position REMINDER RE RNS FUND RAISING DISCUSSIONS OFEX Holdings plc (the "Company") announces that it is in discussions to raise additional capital for the Company. The purpose of the fund-raising to provide working capital now and for the longer term and to finance the Company's marketing expenditure which it intends to use, inter alia, to develop the Group's product, increase its presence in the regions outside London and the South East, to promote its market more widely overseas and to enhance the branding of the Group's product. As part of the Company's re-branding the Company is intending to split its market into two tiers, a regular section and a premier section. The premier section will be designed to showcase certain companies, which seek to bring themselves to the attention of additional investors, and companies will be required to meet certain size and liquidity thresholds. The regular section will cover all existing OFEX companies who do not join the premier section. The Directors are seeking to raise sufficient funds to realise the Company's plans but the outcome of these discussions is uncertain. The Company presently believes that it has sufficient funds to carry on its activities in the short term but would require additional funding in order to carry on its business in its existing state beyond the end of November. The Directors will continue to monitor the position. THE DIRRECTORS HAVE CONFIDENCE | vision88
01/10/2004 12:11 | RL. IM going to just sit it out on these, as i truly do think they are a recovery play and they are not going to disappear, you know the late Sir James Goldsmith was a great investor, he allways made money buying what no one else was wanting and he coined the phase if you see a band wagon comming then you have all ready missed it, as he was well and trully on the the band wagon him self, RL. you are just that sort of investor that seeks out that type of band wagon d6 is another, one day your going to hit it right, | vision88
01/10/2004 12:05 | Hi Vission88, I would of rushed into ELH if I was not at the hospital at 10am. Not that I should be taking on another T without any money. Though ELH were down something like 40% again which makes them too cheap after loosing the other day too. I feel very bullish about Ofex, though it will take a lot of time, at least till end of November. I am going to start going back out now on the fruit machines to see if I can get good at that, as I was not very good before. Kind Regards Stephen | responsible lad
01/10/2004 12:01 | This is the Ofex market here therefore I expect a post at least every 5 minutes. Its madening to think more people post on the PET thread than on here. I would spam the PET thread if I had a chance, because overall the people on there do not look around enough. | responsible lad

01/10/2004 11:56 | looks like about a month after the dilution to 5p, Ofex will fly back up to 15p easy. Ofex is very big just like the LSE is. Huge potential here. I refuse now to cut my looses even though level2 is dire today. | responsible lad
01/10/2004 11:38 | anley A dirrectors paye list would indeed be interesting to see just how much they pay them selves, regardless of performance ,there should be a law relating to remunation by performance caped at £100.000 per annum ,that quite enough for passing pieces of paper around, which in truth is all they do, How ever nothing is perfect certainly not at ofex right now, but in consideration that they are able to raise monies right issue, naturally dillution will take effect, do you not see from lasrt week when it was 21p it would dilute to about 5-7p there abouts | vision88
01/10/2004 11:14 | I should be considering a name change to something like that until I can prove to my shareholders that I am getting wiser. My backer logica2me has strong faith that I will pull threw in the end. | responsible lad
01/10/2004 11:06 | How about a new handle, something like "Irresponsible Lad" ? | vs
01/10/2004 11:03 | Another misfortune for me, this makes an important read for investors to learn to not to become a gambler like me. | responsible lad

01/10/2004 09:41 | Some of you are quite right to think that the share price will not go up until details of the funding are announced. But I have to warn you that the company is "technically" bust and the directors will no doubt be hurrying around to get the funding so that they can get themselves out of a hole. Luke Johnson is no fool and will want the lowest price possible so he can average out and poor Mr Jenkins who took stock at 35p in exchange of a loan will not be too happy. My bet is that he will not participate in any new funding. I am a buyer but not until all the facts have been disclosed and answers to the future management have also been given to us. | anley
01/10/2004 08:49 | Thanks BritishBear, That was very kind of you to post that. I have not bought my next load because it looks like the price will not rise until they have raised their 3 million pounds at hopefully 5p. I am now confident this is a medium term 3 bagger and I am very happy with my purchase I made yesterday, but no gains for the short term. Yours Thankfully, Stephen Lempriere | responsible lad
01/10/2004 08:18 | Ofex shares continued to head south today, after it revealed a funding crisis on Wednesday. The situation is very concerning. The company intended to announce new funding with its interim report on Wednesday, but it could not strike a deal in time. In fact, industry experts have expressed doubts to UK-Analyst.com on whether it will be able to secure any funding at all. However, press reports said current shareholder and Channel 4 boss Luke Johnson said he would consider taking part in the fundraising. Rumour has it that the group is trying to raise 3 million pounds at 5p a share by next Tuesday. The stock slumped 2.5p to 5.5p. | britishbear

30/9/2004 20:17 | Banks will be very supportive of Ofex Holdings since they are as important company to society as British Energy is. In any share the derampers are always really nasty at times when the share prices are at their all time lows. Just take a look at PET when they were 4p, what false lyes and scare mongering I was sucked into believing which lost me out on a fortune. This Ofex Holdings will be my life saver as I am a poor man. If this share falls threw then that will be enough to finish me of for months, so please show me some symphany. | responsible lad |
