I'm nearly getting bored with the lack of movement on this one, but I am very encouraged by the quantity of small sells (at least many look like sells) but the price is not going down.

I asked for their annual report a week ago and one of the directors no less replied to my telephone message and took my details and sent the report. To me, that small action said plenty about the company, that is, it looks after its staff. Most bosses in this situation would lose you as quickly as possible and pass you over to a PA or secretary.

I asked if they were happy with everything and this person gave me the impression that something wasn't 100% but they could easily have been on their guard since the question came out of the blue and seemed to have caught them by surprise.

They are trying out different things with varying degrees of success (that's what I think they said) but I came away from that conversation believing that this company is now well on its way to good success.

Please take a deep breath before reading the next paragraph.
No puncutation - couldn't be bothered!

To my mind, with so many "singles" out there (single/separated/divorced) and the whole image of using a dating agency becoming so much more acceptable, if not normal, and this company owning the best known dating agency in the UK, as well as two other very good ones, and this company now moving into profits, this share has surely got to move upwards quite soon.

I'm definitely holding.

Ditto above. Only this time there were even more profiles than last month. Also tipped in Shares Mag again. Your placing or mine? Bid/offer...Oooh! What a spread. :-) Target price, legs eleven.

Didn't realise there was a thread on here for this stock.

I bought a few at the interim stage and just tucked them away, never really pay much attention to them, not expecting a trading statement of any sort really (like 'we have got 5000 couples together this month, many of which are laying each other stupid!).

so was quite surprised that there was a share buy by the CE today.

with 0.2p eps in H1, and the speed at which losses were reduced, it gave me the feeling there could be 1p a share earnings this year, way ahead of the 0.3p broker estimates for the year, with o.2p in the bank.

Worth looking at imo -

Haven't been pushed to the top of the BB for a while. In last couple of weeks or so, there has been some selling, but not an enormous amount.

This one isn't going to make you millions, but neither do I think it's going to make you bankrupt.

I'm a little bored of seeing just 2-3 trades each day. Would like some more activity (please).

In this day when it is not so embarrassing to admit one's used a dating agency - ie it is much more acceptable - this share, imo, has the qualities of success ahead.

GSOH required if it goes downwards :)

Doesn't seem to take much trading to move these upwards.

Small price movement today (bid price up .25p) Apparently this is tipped in one of the penny share magazines, either today or in last few days.

Hohum - price dropped earlier and so I'm expecting a largish sell to come through, at least I hope it's quite large since I'd be worried if it was/is small.

Perhaps this is a good opportunity to buy some more.

Any thoughts?

I've held shares in these since i first got a few "freebies" after the spin-off from Columbus Publishing(now HHC).
However, i added at 7p, watched them go to 18p,then watched them go down to 2.75p and bought some more at 2.9p
Ironically of course, they were in far better shape when the market valued them at 2.75p than when the market
valued them at 18p....Just about sums things up really...As GZR says...It's all about sentiment.
Incidentally not only do i have shares in them but i also have posted a profile on their website.....Should be worth
a couple of pence rise on that alone. :-)

Not many trades, though probably not too surprising as it's a little known company, but the MMs seem to be short of stock.

pht - share price is dismal because the market in general is dismal, sentiment is very poor. Shares that report good results go up and then come back down again. OSA had a bad year last year which is another reason why the price crashed. Peel Hunt was forecasting eps of 0.3p this year and 0.8p for next year, but they could do better than this now. The upside is obvious but it depends on these forecasts being met and better stockmarket conditions.

I'm very tempted to ramp this one but it's not in my nature.

Seeking your own research, in my GSOH opinion, etc.

This time last year the company was still loosing a lot of money. They have now moved into profitable trading at a clearly acceleration pace and eps are forecast to exceed expectations for the next two years. The shares even with today's 30% rise, are less than half those of a year ago. It is even Valentine's day today!!!
Why the dismal share price?
Anyone know?

PHT

Small Co Sharewatch has these as a buy again. They reckon Peel Hunt's forecast of 0.3p eps this year and 0.8p next year will be beaten.
