They are journalists. They write for a living. If they were any good at investment would they be spending their time writing or spending their time making money?

People who chase subscriptions or who produce 'fill' to attract advertisers have a different agenda to you. I would read the company's own accounts and form my own conclusions from that. Learn to trust yourself.

I agree 100% which is why I asked the question. I also just read Simply Wall Street saying
"For Numis, the latest earnings is £21.6M, which, relative to last year’s level, has dropped by -17.32%. Given that these values may be relatively myopic, I’ve determined an annualized five-year value for NUM’s net income, which stands at £13.5M. This means that despite the fact that earnings declined against last year, over the long run, Numis’s profits have been increasing on average."

This article came out today. Are they seeing something I'm not?

Alibro. I wouldn't even bother to read ADVFN's figures. Why give yourself problems by looking at someone else's probably flawed re-hash? Without fail, I'd go directly to the company's own accounts. :-)

ADVFN is showing them have a net debt of £184.5m.
Can anyone advise where that is coming from? I haven't been reading company accounts for long so I could be missing something but I can't see where they're getting that figure.

With these greedy fat cats at the helm milking the co for all its worth, (diluting your shares by a huge percentage) I'd stay well clear. Chart now in negative trend and profit warnings will only get worse from here IMO.
One saving grace, last year's award has less chance of a payday for them. Almost 10% of the co's equity between them in share options in one year! Pff!

50dma is just below current price so hopefully that will hold - as it has on the way up as the price has come back to test it on numerous occasions. Still scores >90 on Stockopedia so a quality stock.
