NUM made 37m pbt in 2005/6 on its all time high,guess it will be on its way this year to achieving the same

London, 3 December 2013: Numis Corporation Plc ("Numis") today announces preliminary results for the year ended 30 September 2013. Numis is the holding company of Numis Securities Limited, the independent investment banking and broking business.

Highlights
-- Revenue up 55% to GBP77.7m (2012: GBP50.1m)
-- Adjusted profit before tax up 227% to GBP25.0m (2012: GBP7.7m)
-- Statutory profit before tax up 445% to GBP22.6m (2012: GBP4.1m)
-- Adjusted EPS of 19.3p (2012: 6.4p) and statutory EPS of 16.9p (2012: 3.2p)
-- Final dividend of 5.00p, giving a total dividend of 9.00p per share (2012: 8.00p)

Significant increase in cash balances to GBP71.2m

FY eps 16.9p/share at share price ~250p/share = ~14.8 x earnings.

shares held in treasury is 1.75m (1.52% of total issued stock)
