I believe that any kind of success for Nuformix still hinges on Anne Brindley being being able to deliver something before she leaves.Each time we lose an exec I think it becomes even more challenging for the company to find a good successor. No one in their right mind wants to step into a role that looks impossible to carry out. If a string of execs have already come and gone without achieving anything then it starts to look like an impossible job, whatever the reality.I think Anne's decision to at leave at this time has increased the risk to the company and left others in a difficult position. I could understand if she'd simply had enough and couldn't do it anymore but that does not appear to be the case. The statement says an opportunity arose with an offer that she couldn't refuse...despite the potential consequences for Nuformix. It read to me as though the rest of the board were not expecting it either.Unless the company is bought outright in the near future, we will probably need a new CEO to replace her. If she can deliver the Oxilio deal and maybe see in some positive data on NXP002 then it might give a new CEO something to work with. If she doesn't then who knows what will happen.

Yes, I agree. Some interesting wording in the comments today. Let's see how the next 6 months pans out. Get the oxilio deal sorted and then hopefully NXP002 data will be shortly after

It's probably the notice term in the contract. It makes sense to have it if you need it.Maybe they will let her go earlier if they find a suitable replacement and things go smoothly from now on.

Usually there would be a comment on searching for a replacement though. It does still seem to be a revolving door. I misjudged Anne as I thought she seemed committed. I guess 6 months is better than a couple weeks

They have 6 months to complete that task in. Probably still putting out any fires started by yesterday's RNS at the moment

If that was the case then maybe they should have kept it quiet,there seems to be an agenda of destroying the share price here at any cost.The RNS this morning was not needed IMHO, a deal collapsing yes, an employee leaving in 6 months,pointless.The management are inept at best.

If anne found something she didn't like I dont think she would stay on for another 6months it would be an immediate departure. I can only assume it is literally as the rns states, she's recieved an offer she doesn't want to turn down. Needless to say disappointing tho, as if shareholders have had enough grief, its beyond ridiculous now.

It would be an idea to move Anne on now rather than paying her wages for a further 6 months,if anything is going to happen regards a deal it will,whether she is there or not.

Very disappointed. But at least she is staying on 6 months where we might actually see some decent outcomes. I wonder if she will leave early if a replacement is found sooner. The number of board changes is embarrassing

Not great news.

However, one would expect that she will want to have some substantive progress in the bag within the next 6 months as evidence that she has had some impact.

Short term weakness - but maybe some jam before Christmas?(And when I say jam I am only thinking of those little disposable pots one sometimes gets with toast in a cafe)

It might be worth keeping an ear to ground in order to judge just how special the new job offer really is...
