22/5/2008 13:10 | Any thoughts??? | qs9
22/5/2008 12:01 | with the oil price so high, will people be using more nuclear energy, thus boosting uranium price? Also talk of nuclear "race" in the papers the other day may have helped sentiment....IMO.... | qs9
22/5/2008 11:31 | rogid, the ticker is NLR. | stuart14
22/5/2008 11:26 | whey...hey...hey...i | gurp
16/5/2008 10:58 | I've topped up with another 3000 at £2:03p | adorling
15/5/2008 18:01 | I don't know of that one. What's the name/market? | rogid
15/5/2008 16:27 | NLR is the one for me. Just want it a little cheaper. Good dividends and a mix of Exploration, Production, Refining, and Power Stations make is diversed and hopefully a little safer. | stuart14
15/5/2008 16:17 | The recent uranium price graph is uncannily like the 'anatomy of a bubble' graph where we've burst the bull market bubble and are now reaching the maturity point of the bear market: www.moneyweek.com/up (sorry, can't seem to get the link to copy properly) We appear to be well into the capitulation/despair phase ie over-reaction to the downside. The U price and that of the miners (esp juniors) may well go lower but they are now so cheap I'm fairly relaxed and keep topping up at new lows as I'm in for the long term which, looking at the global picture of fossil fuel depletion and massively increasing energy demands, is a no-brainer. There's also the green appeal of virtually no carbon emissions and other countries like France have safely been using U as an important element of energy supply for some time, proving it can be done safely. Even with the potential dangers of widespread use, I don't think governments will have much choice about it longer term. Hopefully my children/grandchildr Topped up today at 2.02 as was near enough to my £2 target. Good luck all. | rogid
12/5/2008 15:51 | for U price, see "U" thread. | trader horne
11/5/2008 17:19 | any views on short and medium term outlook for Uranium price? Has it found its lows yet and what about the demand side?/?? As Nu. is so geared towards this, would appreciate views from some more knowledgeable people than I, !! thanks | qs9
25/4/2008 21:30 | ........or if there's a 40ton truck coming the other side | gurp
25/4/2008 13:47 | we may have turned a corner - not sure which one | juju43
21/4/2008 17:31 | Hi all. New on here having watched this one for a long while. Finally opened the batting last week at £2.20. Too late this morning to pick some more up at £2 but have left limit order on in readiness. Very happy with the long term U picture and have also been picking up some junior miners for the same reason. Good luck all. | rogid
21/4/2008 15:26 | Unbelievable given diluted NAV is c. £2.44.... That suggests people still expect further softening of U3o8, otherwise I agree with you juju, this is going to rocket once U starts to recover.... | tilmanstone
21/4/2008 12:23 | good start | juju43
21/4/2008 08:00 | when Ur. price stops falling this will rocket. being hammered on no volumes. looks like a mm ploy to steal shares . i think i will sit it out. the fall has to be way overdone | juju43
18/4/2008 21:07 | in a definite downtrend - wonder if being at the bottom of the channel will give us some respite next week. pity as also having some good gains on other holdings esp oil & coal stocks | gurp
18/4/2008 20:44 | its collasping on miniscule volumes | juju43
18/4/2008 15:10 | this pig is taking the shine of my gains elsewhere - right back to where it started 16 months ago | juju43
18/4/2008 14:16 | ............& that's putting it politely | gurp
17/4/2008 19:00 | This looks oversold yet again, unless you believe U is going to continue falling | tilmanstone
16/4/2008 21:37 | my worst investment but like you i keep thinking Ur. must turn up | juju43 |
