06/2/2008 19:44 | U3o8 down yet again to $75.. oh well... Interesting trades today though. Will $75 be the bottom?? | tilmanstone
05/2/2008 17:04 | lol oh if it were true sheeneqa NU. would be £6.90 bid £7 offer no mistake! | praipus
05/2/2008 16:00 | No need, you must have the wedge to do it, the upside in aqua in the last few years, get in your hipper ;-) | sheeneqa
05/2/2008 13:53 | Perhaps you could email Jim and ask him to cook some upside.....lol Would $5m do it? | praipus
05/2/2008 13:46 | tilman - actually this share seems to have held up quite well - just look at the juniors on the venture exchange. Its a sector thing, uraniums, together with PGMs are getting bashed for lots of reason, but none of them need concern investors, its traders that need to worry. A while back when these things were going up every day, it was largely driven by hedge fund money pouring into the sector. Now the hedge funds have bailed out, partly because it went up rather too fast, and partly because they are bleeding cash from other less prudent investments, like paper with a writing on it, something to do with property no doubt. If like me you think the future of energy is uranium, then stop watching the share price and go kick a soccer ball. | tim
05/2/2008 13:25 | Distressed sellers and market manipulation, as adam smith though not a pal says its all down to supply and demand and if you believe the latter is going to outstrip the former, fill yer boots and wait for the inevitable upturn. Jim cramer on market manipulation. | sheeneqa
05/2/2008 13:11 | Its not a concern to me, I'm just peeved that I read a lot of Uranium research notes at the end of '07 that suggested that U3o8 prices were heading up and (as usual) the experts got it wrong. I still believe that prices WILL go up , its just a question of when. Nufcor as a wholesaler of U3o8 is priced with close proximity to the U3o8 price, but at the moment it seems undervalued for which I have no explanation. So in short I'm not concerned about Nufcor as a company, but i AM concerned about the U3o8 price... Good luck... | tilmanstone
05/2/2008 12:21 | Is Nufcor a concern to you tilmanstone if so why? | praipus
05/2/2008 11:34 | Totally agree: What we're investing in here is Uranium and the future of the nuclear energy industry rather that nufcor as a company. Nonetheless, wish I'd waited a bit longer before buying....! | tilmanstone
05/2/2008 11:06 | MM's fear is presumably distressed sellers who they do not yet have visibility of. Economic fundamentals all point to increased demand long term, short term economic weakness if that is what it is will pass...surely. Stay long IMHO and be happy eventually. | praipus
05/2/2008 09:02 | ho yes they do. | gardenarc
05/2/2008 09:00 | At $78 U3o8 we have diluted NAV of £2.728: current price 255... unbelievable. Market makers move in mysterious ways... | tilmanstone
04/2/2008 22:21 | ditto juju43.. | gardenarc
04/2/2008 20:26 | looks very oversold with 14 day rsi around 15 . may be time to top up. | juju43
04/2/2008 19:16 | JuJu: I think virtually the whole world is bullish on Uranium (or at least was!) I guess the threat of a worldwide economic slow down has had an impact as most of the bullishness is driven by expected demand from China/Russia/India developing economies etc. I'm down a packet on this, but I always intended to hold long term. We may look back at this in 18mnth time and wish we'd bought more. Time will tell... Good luck to all holders... | tilmanstone
04/2/2008 12:52 | noted that juju maybe it will move up soon. | gardenarc
04/2/2008 12:49 | jim rodgers bullish on uranium | juju43
03/2/2008 22:12 | funny how all the so called experts got this totally wrong | juju43
30/1/2008 21:55 | That would be pleasant..! | tilmanstone
30/1/2008 21:30 | Double bottom coming up on U3O8 price?? | papillon
30/1/2008 19:30 | U3o8 price tumbled again ... $78 : New diluted NAV of £2.72 so fairly priced. It just goes to show that "experts" were totally wrong about Uranium price going into 2008.... Looks like a long hold I guess... | tilmanstone
30/1/2008 13:43 | Just topped up for another 2500 at 270p - good long term SIPP investment | adorling
30/1/2008 12:01 | looking pretty sick | juju43
29/1/2008 14:15 | In theory this is now valued at 90% of its diluted NAV based on $86.50 U3o8 price. Absolutely bonkers...its never been this cheap, not even when price of U3o8 went down to $77. In theory this is easy money, but what do I know!!? DYOR and good luck | tilmanstone
28/1/2008 22:41 | bounce pls | melody9999 |
