Just watched the BBC report via the link. It all looks very positive for NCYT as LSE are now also taking about a vaccine in the pipeline rather than just a diagnostic test. Excellent coverage for the company. Many thanks for the link.

Just a quick reminder: there are only 20 minutes left to be able to watch this online o national News (due to buffering limit of BBC News)… :
NCYT was mentioned BBC News live today: Richard Hunter, Head of Markets, Interactive Investor interviewed at the London Stock Exchange today at 16:49. His interview segment was from 16:47 to 16:50 this afternoon. The link to watch is here - but it only buffers 2 hours. - so you probably won’t be able to watch it after about 18:45 today…

The Chinese 15m test is called the thermometer lol, not very reliable compared to the NYCT CE approved test soon to be FDA approved as well.
Interesting to see Novacyt reach the BBC news, just watched the clip which will have been seen by a few million this evening, all good publicity.

Good strategy.

People asking for an update on sale orders, don't or you will be looking at 15p in a flash.

I can see a situation where every school, hospital, doctors, pharmacy etc will have to have these kits and end having to test as routine those with symptoms and random tests etc.

too much pressure on NHS otherwise

Nucleic acid testing is time consuming and results have not been satisfactory in China, hence the Chinese have developed a new test kit, which does the full end to end test in 15 minutes.T

The method that laboratories use to test for COVID-19 is nucleic acid testing using PCR, or polymerase chain reaction, which works by looking at the genetic code of the virus. A sample is first taken with a swab from the back of the nose or mouth of someone suspected of being infected with the virus. Then, in the laboratory, if the virus is present in the specimen, the virus’s genetic code – is extracted and repeatedly copied, multiplying tiny trace quantities of viral nucleic acid so it is easily detectable.
