Bigbruv - you will never achieve my entry price. That opportunity has been and gone. But it's not too late to make a sizeable profit here. The whole 18 month drilling campaign is ahead - it could revert to say the 200p level we saw last year. It's not a clever short - you know it, and I know it. When I see the shares rising I'll know you have made the right choice for your future, and I will be happy about that. Let the sun shine in friend. ATB

Well 51 is new to me. That's two results expected. And we haven't spoken about the schlumberger backed 2020 drill project yet..

"Two wells were drilled during Q3. Well 51, a water injector in to the Tournasian oil reservoir, and appraisal well 361 was drilled in to the Vorobyovsky reservoir in the Northern part of the licence. Testing of 361 is now underway".

I hope they have founded under sea with oil :) News should to give a huge profit one day in future.

Moved out if here at 28p and jumped into EUA at 0.85 last week. So lucky as I really do believe we will be well rewarded here in time. Don't normally mention other shares but EUA is incredible and much much greater opportunity if a game changing share.If you can get in at sub 2p it is a screaming buy IMHO!!

Will the shorters try and force it down? Expensive and risky with the drill 361 result imminent. I suspect they will try though cos their ego is all wrapped up in it :)

Coming back to your points bigbruv. I've made around 200% on those trades and shorting isn't really my thing. This is a highly leveraged play and the drilling outcomes are uncertain. My liability here is limited, yours is unlimited, making your situation rather more precarious than mine. Of course it's up to you what you do in life - but frankly even if the drill is dry and you make money here, you are still bonk la tonk for taking the risk. More intelligent bets out there. ATB ;)

Why GTU3 is important... "This will allow us to strip more LPG from our raw gas than we can today, leading to better margins. GTU3 will also help us to further optimise operational costs at field site with one control room managing the entire field. This step brings us closer to completing a unique set of world class infrastructure in the pre-Caspian basin in North West Kazakhstan."

Revision.. Cash position down and debt down. They have simply paid a coupon on the debt. I suspect with completion of GTU3 and (presumably) a pause on drilling, cash will back above $100m by ye. ATB :)

Operational Update for the Nine Months ending 30 September 2019
Nostrum Oil & Gas PLC (LSE: NOG) ("Nostrum", or "the Company"), an independent oil and gas company engaging in the production, development and exploration of oil and gas in the pre-Caspian Basin, today announces its operational update in respect of the nine-month period ending 30 September 2019. This update is being issued in advance of the release of Nostrum's consolidated accounts for the same period.
Highlights:
Operational
-- GTU3 technical commissioning complete
-- Wells 42 & 41 tested without commercial flows of hydrocarbons
-- Well 361 drilling complete and testing commenced
-- 9M 2019 average production after treatment of 28,877 boepd
-- 9M 2019 average sales volumes of 27,515 boepd
-- Schlumberger and PM Lucas reports delivered to the Company
-- Extended licences for the Rostoshinskoye and the Chinarevskoye fields
Financial
-- Revenues expected to be in excess of US$250 million (9M 2018: US$311.4 million)
-- Cash position in excess of US$91 million (H1 2019: US$120.8 million)
-- Total debt expected not to exceed US$1,113 million and net debt expected not to exceed approximately US$1,022 million as at 30 September 2019
Kai-Uwe Kessel, Chief Executive Officer of Nostrum Oil & Gas, commented:
"I am pleased to confirm that during October we concluded the 72hr test of GTU3 and as a result can confirm it is commissioned. I can also report that both Schlumberger and PM Lucas have delivered their analysis of the Biski North East & West and the Tournasian reservoirs to our technical team. We are reviewing the reports and will look to factor them in when determining the 2020 drilling programme and production guidance. Production declined faster than we had anticipated during Q3 resulting in a revision of our full year sales volumes guidance to 27,000 boepd from 28,000 boepd for 2019."
