16/2/2018 16:04 | I first started in NTOG back in October 2009 at 1.77p, it never ever went above that.... I chased the NTOG dream for years, I still believe after all these years why I invested in NTOG in the first place. I bought when I could and averaged down and down... Still believing all the great RNS that were pushed out by Matt, but they never seemed to propel the company to new highs, always spikes and that was followed by a re-trace every time, after every RNS. If you don't believe me just look for yourself. I still kept kept averaging down until I couldn't put any more in, my average was 0.65 with about 3.6m, I was happy with my holding and still believed in the NTOG dream, but post consolidation 50:1 my average is 32p with a holding of 77000 ish. No point in being bitter or twisted it's been my choice to stay and I will, no point in selling at a huge loss. I was relatively new to investing started in 2006 and I put all my eggs in one basket and I've learned from that. Will I ever break even or recoup some of my losses I hope so, as i would have done things a bit differently. Sorry for the long story and I know the Ges was in the same boat, I would just love to see NTOG go mental and put a huge smile on all of our faces.... My wife especially as I did use a huge chunk of out life savings and we ain't getting any younger. | dabs1969
16/2/2018 14:28 | Mmmmm I've seen this so many times over the last 9 years, I just hope this time it'll be different, fingers crossed | dabs1969
16/2/2018 14:00 | Well that escalated rather quickly yikes. Was tempted to put another £20k in at 4.50 the other week. Luck escape by the looks of things at the moment. | nitchers

16/2/2018 08:48 | Geseppe - nobody likes a spiteful person so wear life, do something about it if you feel aggrieved by, as bluehorseshoe says, accepting your own investment mistakes by confronting the culprit(s) and solving it with those that may have some answers for you. You've basically come on here to whinge, and cast doubts over the CEO of NTOG on a public bulletin board and claiming 'evidence' of unlawful practice that you clearly have drawn a blank with elsewhere. So most here will suspect sour grapes too. I wish I had money back on many of my failed investments. I did plenty of whining during the time I was active in those shares as to the direction of things related to the companies and went to 'the top' too. Once it was clear I'd been 'had' or simply not understood what I was investing in, basically risked too much, I sold up, licked my wounds, hopefully learned something and never went back to moan on boards or anywhere. Life's too short. Stuff happens and, if any part of what you say is true you should have gone to the authorities and pursued it relentlessly. Think Hillsborough for what it takes to get justice... Otherwise, accept that fate and the wider economy hit most small caps sideways in the post-2010 period for far too long so many went bust. Somehow we all live to fight another day and we have big hitters like BP and Washington Federal Bank happy to invest in NTOG as it stands in 2017/18. Buy into it or cry somewhere else. We know AIM is risky and the CEOs are a maverick lot to say the least. Risk/reward mate, risk/reward. And always patience. Topicel | topicel
16/2/2018 07:06 | I think the sayings,'no news is good news' or 'silence is golden' don't really apply here as everyone 'patiently' waits for the somewhat overdue flow rates. Its all very quiet on the Permian basin since the RNS of 7/2 so hopefully news soon? | 1candc
16/2/2018 07:05 | Gesseppe dislikes Matt and the company so much that he still keeps his shares.Tells you everything. | soupdragon55
15/2/2018 20:51 | And this helps you to get your investment back how exactly? Like I said before, I would challenge the guy face to face instead of bleating on a BB. Do you really think money is only made by the pure of heart? | 1bluehorseshoe
15/2/2018 20:00 | 1bluehorseshoe For your information, Oil was not at a Low and as being stupid, well thats a matter of opinion, your opinion, to which you are entitled, and secondly, point me in the direction where i blame someone for my investing? What i blame Lofgran for is lies and deceits, which cost me money, try the one where he shorted his own stock, while telling S/H that all was good. Try the one where he deliberately with held Dusters, Try the one where he consistently refused to admit that a WEll only produced Salt Water, while telling S/H that it was on Test, I wont name the Wells but i have the Info to Back it up if you or he cares to challenge , but as you are so Clued up do to your own research, you would know the ones which fall into the right category. And as for my posting never helps anyone, again thats your opinion. Does your posting help anyone? i dont know? but i aint putting you down for it. ATB Ges | geseppe
15/2/2018 19:30 | Never understood how disgruntled holders think that airing their views is helpful to anyone? Life is full of broken promises not always intentional and none of us are perfect. Are you stupid for investing when oil was at a low or stupid now for trying to put off new investors? Both would result in you losing money but you already know that yet want to blame someone else except the man in the mirror. Fact is oil is on the up and so is the share price Thanks for the warning but I know it's down to me to buy and sell so that's where the buck stops. Try it. | 1bluehorseshoe
15/2/2018 17:14 | That something we agree on then. I don't like seeing people lose money, more liquidity in the market is better for us all. All I know is fundamentally at 1.5p and 120 million shares in issue NTOG was well undervalued, hence why I have built a large (ish) position. Knowing what we know do date I think the company is fairly priced in and around 5p (this is only my opinion, some will say less some we say more) Anyway hope it turns blue for you soon. Best wishes | coconocchio |
