21/1/2018 15:44 | There really is no excuse here....the Carillon collapse is significant news and as has been stated several times many companies have issued RNS's with both good and less good news for shareholders. Not sure what the weather has to do with this!! | jaf111
21/1/2018 14:16 | Fully agree simso. But why let your already undervalued share price weaken further if all it takes is a rns confirming no material exposure to Carillion to put it right? Okay, the weather has not been ideal but I think it would have to go on for a lot longer to materially effect trading, there are always going to be a few bad weather days each winter in that part of the world. | tiswas
20/1/2018 15:03 | The FD did email me back, but more of the same about RNS being the only way to communicate rather than individually. I could see three scenarios here: The first is that there is no problem, and they havent therefore bothered with an RNS as there is nothing to report. They would know their exposure at 9.01am on Monday Morning with a few clicks of the mouse in the purchase ledger system. I think thats the most likely scenario, and the more time passes, the more likely it is. The worst scenario is that the problem is actually large and crosses several divisions, therefore takes longer to scope and work out what to do. A third scenario was that they hadnt even thought about RNS's and their obligations to update us...but given the FD's responses that scenario can be ruled out. | simso
20/1/2018 10:32 | Something does not smell right. I would encourage all shareholders to keep mailing the directors or nomad until this is cleared up. | tiswas
19/1/2018 17:51 | Definitely very poor show by NTBR | jaf111
19/1/2018 16:19 | Gary, yes I have done similar. | simso
19/1/2018 16:02 | I have had a similar response and have replied to say that comparable companies have issued statements and so would they. | gary1966
19/1/2018 15:56 | Tiswas, I had also asked the FD on Wednesday, and got a similar response to you this morning. I am not satisfied with the answer, in the sense I am none the wiser. I have 3 other holdings where I had concern about Carillion, and all 3 have issued RNS this week confirming the level of uninsured exposure. In all 3 cases, the shares recovered the lost ground created by the uncertainty. It would be much better if NTRB could issue an RNS, even if (as we hope) there is nothing to say. | simso
19/1/2018 10:59 | meijiman Just edited my last post to clarify my thoughts. I know it is not practical to deny every rumours in the market but as Carillion's tentacles extended everywhere in the building industry I thought it would be wise on this occasion to confirm there is no exposure, if that is indeed the case. | tiswas
19/1/2018 10:52 | Are you not mollified by that as if there was any material impact they would have to inform the market. | meijiman
19/1/2018 10:25 | Received a reply basically saying that any relevant info would be communicated via rns. Not sure that leaves me any happier. If there is exposure they should know it by now. If there is no exposure then say so and remove any uncertainty. | tiswas

18/1/2018 12:53 | The lack of news suggests otherwise......I hope I am wrong! | jaf111
18/1/2018 12:12 | Would be amazed if they had been affected, with no rns to date, but some sort of clarification would clearly help given the drifting share price & lack of newsflow. | xajorkith
18/1/2018 11:46 | i called the Nomad, who seemed surprised at the question. said they would discuss internally and reply today. not holding my breath. | simso
18/1/2018 11:19 | I mailed my usual contact who knows I am a shareholder. | tiswas
18/1/2018 11:15 | I had a response yesterday afternoon just to ask what capacity I was asking in. Was out all day and so didn’t reply until close to end of working day. | gary1966
18/1/2018 11:12 | I also emailed them yesterday. Pretty poor imo that they have not responded or issued an rns if there is anything material to say. | tiswas
16/1/2018 19:09 | Yes happy to relay if I hear anything. | gary1966
16/1/2018 18:48 | Hi Gary, also keen to hear please if you get a reply. Cheers | texas_caddy
16/1/2018 18:30 | Thanks Gary, will you post here with what they say when you do hear back? Thanks | simso
16/1/2018 16:09 | Have already messaged the company and asked but no reply as yet. | gary1966
16/1/2018 14:44 | A few Construction Companies appear likely to have lost a bit of money because of the Carillion collapse, and have put our Statements reassuring on the quantum. I wonder if the weakness in price over the last couple of days relates to the same issue. Does anyone know if Carillion a customer of any scale for NTBR? | simso
11/1/2018 15:04 | Yes agree. Must be one of the best value shares around -cheap on every matrix. Weather not an issue either. Value always comes back into fashion. | meijiman |
