18/9/2017 18:10 | Anyone got earnings forecasts for this for next year? | bazzer1000
04/9/2017 10:31 | Strange how this can go from a spread of 7p at times to 1p at others. | its the oxman
25/8/2017 09:23 | Did anyone make it to the AGM? | exv
22/8/2017 15:46 | Smart purchases Leona, and some good information folks, thanks. | royaloak
22/8/2017 15:30 | I've dipped a small toe in the water today after researching this one. It passed all my filters when screening for profitable companies with small market cap, low price sales ratio, dividend paying and no gearing. | impvesta
15/8/2017 12:38 | Yes it does appear to have settled down very well . | leona306a
15/8/2017 11:06 | Still fundamentally undervalued. Think everyone senses it's just a matter of time before this runs through 100p. Recovered well from ex div already. | its the oxman
10/8/2017 16:17 | great answer Leona and This_ Many thanks indeed | the patient investor
10/8/2017 13:43 | It is very cash generative. It had a large debt figure and the cash generated was used to pay this off. They are very good at getting rid of subsidiaries that cease to be worthwhile and developing new ones eg the use of drones to examine roofs of large buildings. They seem to be well managed at both the operation and the strategic levels. They are also interested in acquisitions but are sensibly cautious about what to buy. They do a lot of work with roofs of large, often historic, buildings. that work is not subject to the general cyclical nature of the house building industry. I have owned shares for almost 5 years and they are now my largest holding. The market cap. is not much more than £15 million so the shares are bound to have a large spread, although you can normally deal inside the spread. The main risk is poor winter weather which will depress results in that year eg. 2015/16. | this_is_me
10/8/2017 13:40 | Hi patient investor. A good solid company.Still under valued with a p/e of 7.96. Peg of 0.19No institutional interest yet.....a bit too early for that.Floated on the stock market 2006 and have always made an underlying profit, even through the recession. They have just made their first acquisition in ten years and a good one at that.I have been following this company for the last six years. The price was then 10p. I now have a considerable holding . So you see I am also a patient investor. For what it is worth .. My opinion is to buy when you feel good about it and reinvest All your dividends , you could make a lot of money........I HAVE. GOOD LUCK | leona306a
10/8/2017 10:37 | hi all new to this share, looks really solid is the spread always so wide? I see directors have about 10% any institutional investor? Looking to buying some many thanks | the patient investor
10/8/2017 08:49 | Now trading ex div. causing the drop in the share price. | this_is_me
04/8/2017 13:00 | No surprise to see this one going North today. It goes ex-divi on Thursday so maybe investors are hanging on for the income before selling. It has retraced to 83p and 85p twice recently but not stayed at that level for long. Once the divi comes out it will start to look cheap and I expect us to recover quickly. | mach100
04/8/2017 12:17 | Nice uptick - I'm assuming NTBR have had a mention in one of this week's shares mags. f | fillipe
31/7/2017 10:01 | Blimey, bargain time. | shanklin
28/7/2017 16:51 | Most on here aware but for anyone doesn't know Jon Pither(it keeps coming up!)is an ex Director left in 2008 and is aged 83 so not surprising he is cashing in a few whenever he can. SJ | sailing john
28/7/2017 16:20 | Jon Pither selling a few more.... | battlebus2
28/7/2017 16:07 | Sizeable div coming soon as well. | its the oxman
25/7/2017 22:29 | Looks a stunning deal to me. The announcement says that the average reported pretax profit of H Peel has been 0.6m over the last 3 years, that's 25% of what NTBR have just reported, so earnings this year could increase around 15% from the acquistion alone, allowing that H Peel will only contribute for 8 months of the current year and the greater number of shares in issue. We could be looking at earnings in the range of 13 - 14p for the current year or a forward p/e of just over 6 | daz
25/7/2017 19:57 | It looks like a very good deal, particularly using the high share price to get an boost to eps. | this_is_me
25/7/2017 11:44 | We have bought something - Mr M approves Not yet researched acquisition fully GL - SJ | sailing john
21/7/2017 11:10 | Reckon we need to increase the mkt cap by another 25% to get to 20mn to see institutions possibly buying. So c.110p. Not all that far away. | its the oxman
19/7/2017 10:33 | NMD may be similar to NTBR IMO in terms of value play, just FYI / DYOR | qs99
18/7/2017 16:04 | Good prediction Oxman, buy price now 90p, but you cannot buy any quantity at that price. Edit Actual closing quotes were 86.6 / 92.356 | royaloak |
