Lower lows.That's not a very good move at all.Without the divi this would be sub £1.00.Looks to be fixed firmly in downtrend and most likely sub 1.00 will happen short term.

CEO exercised and sold a pile of options. I know he has a big pile already - £1.2m worth - but at the current share price, selling his options straight off doesn't look that great.

The other side of the coin is that selling them at any other time is a bearish signal, and a competent financial advisor would not want him to have too much tied up in the one asset. Or of course he might have an immediate use for a quarter of a million smackers... school fees these days...

Bad sign? Normal competent financial management? You pays yer money etc etc...

Nowadays I don't do heart buys anymore. Not necessarily bad investments, but sometimes I found it harder to sell when I should.

Whereas I just topped up. There is a seller, so the price goes down; the stock market is for weighers not voters...

Marshalls PLC on Friday said its underlying trading has not been impacted by the Brexit outcome to-date, following a strong first half. So will Norcros not be effected in the same way?

Norcos unfairly punished, say Williams and Turner

Citywire AA-rated managers Gervais Williams and Martin Turner believe indoor tiles manufacturer Norcros (NXR) has been unfairly punished in the fallout from the ‘Brexit’ vote.

Shares in the business are down 14% since the referendum, despite the company last month reporting an 18.5% jump in revenues in its first quarter.

‘It is now standing on a price-earnings ratio of only 5.7 times, despite increasing its interim dividend again with its July figures,’ the pair wrote in their most recent update to investors in their Miton UK Multi Cap Income fund.

‘Overall, Norcros’ dividend has been growing impressively over the last three years, and it’s this kind of dividend growth that ultimately drives portfolio outperformance over time.

Edison report summary;

FY16 was a year of strategic and financial progress for Norcros, with improved profit contributions from both reporting regions and two acquisitions completed. Q117 trading is in line with previous FY17 group guidance and we expect further profit progress over our three-year forecast horizon. UK RMI exposure appears to be out of favour with investors currently, but acquisitions and other regional earnings are positive differentiators not reflected in the rating in our view.
