Mubadala Investment Co. PJSC has been in early talks with NMC Health PLC about a potential investment in the Middle Eastern healthcare provider, Bloomberg News reported Feb. 29, citing people familiar with the matter.The Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund is exploring its options, including acquiring a stake and taking a seat in the company's board, sources said.It is not definite whether a deal will come out of the ongoing discussions due to the complex issues plaguing the healthcare provider, they added.Italian hospital operator Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato Spa is also working with financial advisers for a potential offer for the company, the report noted.NMC Health has temporarily suspended the trading of its shares on the LSE following the firing of its CEO and director Prasanth Manghat. The move was driven by an investigation into allegations that the company has a range of irregularities at its business in a report released by short-seller Muddy Waters LLC.Representatives for Mubadala and NMC did not comment on the matter, according to the report.
