Just seems odd, Maybe Jeffries took out a large short position on this stock, All other brokers see it as a buy/strong buy. Also year on year profits up and on target for 2019. Will have to see. GLTA.

Could be a dead cat bounce, who knows. Why has this company near halved in value in around 6 months?A radical rerating. What happened, everyone suddenly thought that the rating was too high? The majority of brokers didn't think so.Only Jeffries by all accounts cautioned the investing public. One needs to get to the root cause of this price collapse before one can do anything than trade the stock for a short term recovery.

Bought in on that 3:30 pm dip. Fundamentals and year on year growth of NMC is excellent. At this price I do believe this is a great buying opportunity.

sp plummets 10% just today and no news. Wait and see if anything is reported after close/before tomorrow's open. I agree with you andyj, when it settles, worth looking at buying/building position.

The forward PE is now a much more palatable 21, or was prior to the fall today. For the growth potential I think that is an attractive price. What deters me is the speed of the fall, but I will begin building a position soon. In the absence of bad news of course.

unsustainable valuation What would you put as a fair valuation? after the onslaught that has been the 5 past days on the share price Thanks

I think it will be soon, the growth story remains intact. For me it is simply mean reversion after a bubble like run caused an unsustainable valuation. I am watching and waiting for the moment but suspect it will regain the uptrend in time.

Any reason why the share price is dropping? there is no news. Could it be because of sterling/brexit? Goldman only upped their buy rating 2 days ago which to me is meaningless as indicted by Black above.

I'd love to think this might be a buying opportunity, but it's probably a falling knife.

There's likely to be a bounce of sorts. The RSI suggests as much albeit that the stock has plummeted today through a support level around £25-30.Jeffries,who appear to the very astute (but only)bear of NMC must now be nearing a position where they could move from a sell to a hold recommendation. The PE might be in the 20s but arguably a growth stock like NMC is better evaluated with a view to the PEG which is reasonably attractive. That said,Jeffries concerns about NMC would appear to relate to cash flow and worries about the trend in margins. These worries will not easily dissipate.I wouldn't sell at these levels but given the lower lows and lower highs of late would not be tempted to average until there's some sort of clarity.Clarity that these numerous brokers recommending 'buy'can actually muster some share purchases as the stock falls to near half their share price targets.
