Looks like a normal pullback - it did a similar thing in January. RSI at 40 should provide a decent support at 3400. Added a trade to my normal lot. FWIW I've got a good record on these of late (as can been seen by my posts history). Fingers crossed this is another.

“funded collar transaction” - I believe is a hedging investment where both a call and put option are purchased to protect the initial investment, providing the 'collar'. If the share price goes up, the call comes into effect, but conversely, if the share price drops then the put option wins. Some momentum stock this. Not many (if any!) of my investments are driving upwards on a consistent 45 degree slope since July 17. £40 by mid/end June?? Astounding!

Many years ago when I was a new recruit in the Stock Exchange in the 1970s,I eagerly enquired of a stock exchange authorised dealer why a particular stock was rising. He replied,’more buyers than sellers’.The inference being that not all movements are explicable re the initial 8 percent fall on this weeks results.

Whilst welcome what's today's rise all about? Looks like there's some information somewhere for it to jump like that.

You are probably correct but perhaps more relevant is the general current mood of the market that is very skittish. They started weakening off the stock yesterday afternoon and it suggested they would clobber the shares on the results.Taylor Wimpey,BLT and numerous other stocks have been hit on results day right out of the gate.Trump is no help, plus there is still a hangover from the technical correction in February which has probably seen MMs run tighter books and thus things are that much more volatile. This has been a very good performer and there is a real temptation to bank profits unless figures are far better than expected.Happy to hold but the shares could continue to oscillate around current levels.

I think the market latched on to this: NMC has moved from success to success over the past many years and I see no reason why this should change in the foreseeable future, despite an otherwise challenging environment However, organic was 15.6%. The average broker forecast for 2018 requires an organic of 3% by my calculations (factoring in the 25/9, 4/1 and 22/1 acquisitions) and that's before any other acquisitions. I think they're guiding to expect the organic to moderate but the market initially overreacted before buyers came in that noticed the fundamentals are still intact.

It depends whether you want to focus on the PE multiple or the PEG which can lead to an erratic share price performance for highly rated but fast growing companies. "The Company continues to benefit from ready access to debt financing and a supportive shareholder base that we will not take for granted. While we continue to apply strict criteria to our expansion opportunities this backdrop gives us confidence in addressing any future funding requirements to support our ambitious growth plans."The above statement seems to suggest that the company might be back for equity financing quite regularly which has put s bit of a dampener on things. The results are fine.

Great results, but the price more than reflects it IMHO.
