01/12/2015 11:55 | interesting that VPS pulled oout of bidding for Al Noor. Looks like we didn't want to overpay for them. | mfhmfh
27/11/2015 11:31 | Investec reiterate BUY. Up target to 1025p from 950p | aishah
26/11/2015 18:09 | Bodes well for tomorrow.My target for end year still £11-£12. | msarwar014
26/11/2015 15:04 | Yep, and their backers. | philo124
26/11/2015 14:05 | Completely agree re the cross referrals. This looks like being a great acquisition. I have a lot of confidence in the BoD here and think the share price has a long way to go yet. | melf
26/11/2015 13:27 | Acquisition mentions 'cross-referral of patients' - if a patient has IVF/fertility treatment from NMC, I'm sure they will refer her to an NMC health clinic for her maternity care, blood tests etc. and possibly for any post-maternity/child care as well, e.g. baby immunisations. can only be good. IMHO | mfhmfh
25/11/2015 11:12 | Great move in share price | philo124
25/11/2015 10:15 | fertility/IVF is a growing/lucrative market. couples are starting families later due to careers. I think this recent acquisition increases the company's diversity a great deal. IMHO | mfhmfh
24/11/2015 17:03 | That's better :-) | the juggler
24/11/2015 12:16 | good acquisition, IVF/fertility always a lucrative area and becoming more so. IMHO. | mfhmfh
24/11/2015 11:05 | Or maybe not. | philo124
23/11/2015 08:43 | Hopefully now we will see this rise to previous levels. Acquisitions are all very well but perhaps they need to consolidate what they already have and concentrate on that for the time being. | the juggler
23/11/2015 08:29 | They pulled out. Nice entrance to the hospital. hxxp://www.thenation | hawks11
19/11/2015 14:17 | I thought they have to bid by 5th November or it would lapse? | msarwar014
19/11/2015 12:15 | No mention of the Al Noor proposed bid. I wonder if they've given up on that???? | melf
19/11/2015 10:33 | Good summary update from NMC.I am all for organic growth, rather then paying for over the top for acquisitions.I still think it will be £11 by new year! | msarwar014
29/10/2015 16:26 | I see no sign of any headway and to date I think the performance has been most disappointing. Let's hope they pull their socks up, get some good publicity and this is reflected in the share price I would be happy to see 900p by Xmas let alone 1100p! | the juggler
29/10/2015 15:54 | I still have target price of £11 by xmas,as this takeover thing settles down by next week. | msarwar014
16/10/2015 19:30 | I hope you are correct Melf, it was a nasty surprise when I logged on after work. | the juggler
16/10/2015 17:38 | Shaky shaky. The enemy want your shares. Watch it go up again over the next 2 weeks. | melf
16/10/2015 17:00 | Down 10% ......not a happy investor here this evening. | the juggler
16/10/2015 10:45 | A defiant NMC Health prompted a rally in Al Noor Hospitals’ shares after it refused to bow out of the battle to take over the healthcare provider, despite confirmation South Africa’s Mediclinic had agreed to buy it. Shares in United Arab Emirates business Al Noor spiked by as much as 21pc as Mediclinic offered £11.60 per share to buy the business. Earlier this month, NMC made an informal cash and share offer for the FTSE 250 group, and it refused to back down on Wednesday. In a statement NMC said: “We reiterate our commitment to this opportunity despite the lack of meaningful engagement from the board of Al Noor.” Investors cheered as the fight for Al Noor heated up. However, analysts at Investec said NMC’s business will be largely unaffected by the combination, given the company has a greater number of private beds. | aishah
14/10/2015 08:15 | Nice jump. | philo124
