16/10/2009 15:20 | might be worth doing a dummy trade and see if the spread is actually that far apart, most times it isn't, but it depends on how many you are looking at buying/selling. | fo77y
16/10/2009 15:16 | Thought about having a small 'gamble' on these but with a spread like that not sure the odds are that interesting. I don't really understand these things and being a bit of a novice it looks like the mm's have a load of stock they paid too much for and are trying to get top wack and at the same time don't want anymore so are putting some low value on buying any to stop people selling! At that rate i would need a miracle to get my money back. More chance of winning the grand national! Any thoughts - from someone who really understands what's happening? | le frog
16/10/2009 11:16 | Def seems like that. Again, buying of any significant quantity requires a neg. trade. Let's not forget, they may reach an agreement before the end of the month.... Agree with the posts made on iii - certainly in for a major re-rate if all goes well. | kish_008
16/10/2009 10:26 | ...seems like, they definitely want your shares but won't let you buy back a lot of them !?! ;-) | waleriuszwatrobka
16/10/2009 09:40 | are we going to have more fun and games with the price action today? | olly2
16/10/2009 08:20 | ...my pleasure, but you have to mainly thank guys from iii bb as I am just simply a "messenger" ;-) | waleriuszwatrobka
16/10/2009 05:53 | thanks for the info ww. | olly2
15/10/2009 22:39 | ...interesting post from iii bb courtesy of kkgekko. "Just re-reading some of the previous announcements to get a better understanding of the company (this was a punt with minimal research at the time) and noted that the MD of Nipson is the son of one of the partners of Creacorp. Polar and Creacorp seem to have a good history of restructuring companies and this industry isn't new to them.... I think there is comfort to this but I guess it's wait and see. However, if all does proceed to plan, given the figures NDP has generated in the past, it looks like a significant re-rating will have to be done by the market. This is risky, but rewards could be very substantial here. Wishing everyone the best." | waleriuszwatrobka
15/10/2009 14:02 | CNR looking interesting again, reversing earlier drop and 500k buy just appeared.!! | topinfo
15/10/2009 13:04 | guys GPN. just announced MOU. could be huge nickel producer. | r3covery
15/10/2009 12:56 | ...let afternoon fun begin ;-) | waleriuszwatrobka
15/10/2009 12:46 | Widening the spread again - but still can't buy even small amounts without getting in line... May well see 5p+ today. | kish_008
15/10/2009 12:38 | This rise is bad for a lot who sold for a X3 profit. Although thats the market, and I am sure they are used to it by now. You make like £2,000 and then a week later you could of made £6,000. Like me years ago, selling QXL for £3.00 and then it went up 1,500 times in price. | tivoliworldgaming
15/10/2009 12:32 | Can't even buy £100 without going into a queue - Really don't think this is a p&d - think the MMs probably have wind that the company is going to come good and repositioning themseleves accordingly.... | kish_008
15/10/2009 11:58 | ...dp, it isn't just an ordinary p&d, it's just very high risk/high reward punt at least there was this kind of issue yesterday after an orbital rise but not today as we know now where share price belongs when they sort their problems which it seems to be happening slowly !?! ;-) | waleriuszwatrobka
15/10/2009 11:05 | At a 125% spread?? Not sure. Spread suggests to me the MMs want some shares. I think we may see some upward movement later. Just my thinking that there is more light to the tunnel than last week. I'm holding 300k at sub 1p and when it read 4p on the portfolio yesterday it did look much better! But let's wait and see. | kish_008
15/10/2009 10:45 | kish - that is NOT a tree shake. Classic pump and dump. | dawsonpaul
15/10/2009 10:43 | I find this hilarious. Who on earth forked out 5p for this yesterday?? Imagine that, 80% loss in one day. Mind boggling. Own up, who was it??? | dawsonpaul
15/10/2009 08:43 | ...that's quite interesting bit, which may suggest Creacorp's t/o in the background !?! "If circumstances change, including if changes to the Board are made, the Company will consult with the Panel to ascertain whether this will affect the central place of management of the Company. If the Panel determines that, as a result of such changes, the Takeover Code becomes applicable to the Company, an announcement will be made." | waleriuszwatrobka
15/10/2009 08:18 | ...time will tell ;-) | waleriuszwatrobka
15/10/2009 08:18 | Really shaking to get the sellers out. In my view Polar and Creacorp must have seen something positive NDP are working on with respect to their payments. | kish_008
15/10/2009 07:20 | Excellent - not enforcing the debt and obviously worth looking at a solution than calling in the debts. I think this will be seen as positive. | kish_008
15/10/2009 06:04 | try this for size.becon hill resources/BHR IN TALKS WITH MAJOR INDIAN STEELMAKER. | theresearcher |
