Morning All. "The Company notifies that, in light of the above processes, it will not be in position to notify and publish its audited annual accounts for the year ended 31 December 2017 ("2017 Accounts") by 29 June 2018."Wonder why not publishing report before the sale. Are the numbers too good so don't want to make shareholders even more angry? The report must be ready so Why no Rns now? Is it legal what they are doing?

Marmara..no value, were the words he used to me in one of his returned emails.

I have raised my concerns with AIM twice prior to today, and again this morning in reading the RNS of today.

We are all, stuffed, cooked.

A swindle is still a swindle even if valued in millions, I think the
Bank was involved from start as a good chance of helping pick up for
nothing. Cannot do anything here always a risk with oil companies etc...
But producing nearly $2million a month and cannot pay loan interest
or get another Bank/investment co to take an interest. Only proves
the directors were a waste of time...

The most dodgy part is sale to Morse Capital based in Denver, exactly where Nighthawk's bosses are located. How can we be sure there is no other interested party located in another state or country??

Phil, no value? They have drilled wells using our money. The wells are producing a lot of cash each month. No value? Maybe he is on BoD side now? Please all email Aim regulator NOW to investigate this sale urgently and to stop sale as the BoD is not acting good for the future of the company and our investments. The sale price agreed is well below market value and cannot be accepted. BoD doesn't own Nighthawk. We pay them and they don't even want to listen.

Well this has stunk for some time now, imho this will be picked up on the cheap and once complete will gear up and make someone a fortune! Management have known this for a couple of years imho. Be lucky to all

Question is how did they try to sell it? I would prefer them to publish a short article in the proper newspaper to gain some attention. Key attraction is the return from the investment. 100% return is huge for the buyer, not fair and the Court must know that.

Looks like major shareholders could not put a refinancing deal together in time - the real culprit here is the CBA who were demanding their money by 30 June or they would have filed for a debt recovery, so either way we would have ended up in the same place - some time ago we appointed people to seek a buyer and they could not come up with anyone - sure Polaris should make a killing out of this investment but that is the nature of Venture Capital - AIM is a risky place and we all know that - on top of which small oil companies are an additional risk - some you win and some you lose - its becomes a question about how you deal with it - good luck to you all.

Yes, fire sale, but bear in mind, they are based in Denver and are selling it to the company based in Denver. Doesn't sound that a little suspicious? Have they advertised it anywhere?
marmar80

I agree but it's a fire sale. People going to pay minimum. What about costs to run the wells

Imagine sale at even $30m. Still massive return from investment to the buyer and almost $10m left on the company accounts. Completely different scenario. Selling at $18m is a steal!
