Ni prices are very volatile on speculation, soaring (+12%) on Wednesday to a high of USD15,875/tonne on the LME on the back of fears that US sanctions on Russian companies will expand to include it too. It dropped back a bit, but was then up and down yesterday, hitting a high of USD16,690/tonne, but closing at USD15,705/tonne.

IF Trump was to impose sanctions on Nornickel, then the URU share price could well soar, but the general view is that it's unlikely, as the US is so heavily reliant on its palladium.

Indeed. Can't really see what's stopping this drifting back to 0.4p, or lower. Problem is, Zorbas just doesn't seem to care anymore and there's so many wannabe AIM stocks like URU that promise gold at the end of their rainbow. It needs a bullish BoD who will pump up the share price with regular updates but URU doesn't have that. Just Zorbas checking in every so often to issue a speeding ticket with the odd pump and dump. Only thing to do here now is catch the odd dip and trade the 10% pump after spread. Risky but if caught there's always the chance Zorbas will get off his beach towel and say something positive, but don't hold your breath. Aimho, dyor, etc...
