How are people seeing these director buys? Do we think they are genuine belief that they will see a share price rise, or is it a token gesture to put confidence back in the share. I am potential buyer, but haven't done thorough research yet. My interest was caused by the apparent popularity of lipsy at the moment, of which my daughter says everyone is shopping in at the moment.

Mmm, not sure whether to open a position here. Usually, halves at that point. Anyhow, can cleverets tell me is yield 4 or circa 8 per cent. Seems disagreement on point. Is it 4 specials plus normal dividend or not?

Rickmay, there is a monitor facility on ADVFN which allows investors to follow prices and trades live. You don't need to continually post comments about GOING UP UP UP, or GOING DOWN on here.

Is there any logical reason for your figure of £36 or is it just a complete guess/finger in the air job?

The fact the share price has almost halved is meaningless re value,
it's what you think the business should be valued at now and going forward.

Basil,where did you get 338 div from. 2016/17 div was £1.05+.53+60p=1.58.it is about
4%

Next clearly had problems during current sales , never seen it so quiet . No longer trendy IMHO.
First time there was no large queues and times more staff than customers.

A vote of confidence on Friday from a non-exec spending £100,000 of his own money on 2,500 shares.

I'll be topping up my holding in the morning to around 1500 shares.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick them up around £41 or so.
