05/1/2017 10:59 | Yesterday morning on CNBC, chief analyst from Haitong Securities, chap called Tony (can't remember his surname) said, and I'll try to quote verbatim from memory:- "I'm not advising anybody to try to catch a falling knife, but this fall has been way overdone. I'm surprised it's fallen this far" The price of NXT then was £42.75, just after the massive amount of short sales between £43 and £43.50. Now £41, but remember those shorts have to be covered eventually. He also mentioned the special divi and the possibility of the company triggering more share buy-backs. | professor pettigrew

05/1/2017 09:35 | RICKMAY - what's that you were saying? Did you not notice a massive amount of sell trades going through at £43-£43. To me these are "shorts" and will have to be covered. We are already £1.25 above this morning's nadir. Not saying we are going straight back to £43 or above, but there is certainly interest here in droves, so I think you can completely forget your £36 fantasy level. | professor pettigrew
